Multiple Reply Notices...

I'm receiving multiple reply to notices for threads to which I have subscribed. Is this a new "feature"? If so, I like the old way where I only receive one notice until I check the thread again.

Nothing has been changed. Could there be something which you are doing differently? Any changes to your system, browser or settings?

The only thing I've changed recently was my avatar... It appears, though, that I'm no longer receiving multiple notices...

Perhaps I asked to receive e-mail notices twice? as in... I replied to a thread and asked to receive an e-mail notice... then I replied later again and asked to receive e-mail notices.

Would this cause the mysterious problem of multiple notices?

It happens to me when I am browsing the threads as more people are replying ...

ie.
1. I see a new post to a thread I've subscribed to
2. Someone else replies (causing an Email to be sent) while i am looking elsewhere on the boards
3. I notice the thread and view it again
4. Someone else posts (causing another Email to be sent) while I am elsewhere on the boards.
5. repeat cycle as needed

Later that night I may check my Email and I'll get all those messages that were sent to me while I was reading the boards ...

This may or may not be what is happening to you, just sharing in case it helps.
