The EnWorld Collectors Series or "Shake your houserule maker""

Ran across another ranger class today. It was good. I got to thinking about the impressive amount of good ideas one can find here.

Well, with respect to all the contributions made and in the hopes of centrally locating them to be leveraged in later discussion; I was thinking maybe there could be a sticky or archived thread in house rules where all the variant core classes (or alts, jury rigs, homebrews, split-hairs, rehauls, wild divergences, retools, houserules, back-to-old-schools, etc.)

Then I thought this might be a good thing for lots of topical convergence from different forums and recurring ideas. It might make archiving easier as well. So I'm proposing it here to make sure that:

A.) it actually is a good idea
B.) it doesn't step on anyones toes
C.) it's practical

Your thoughts?
