There he goes again, wielding his almighty power to force, yes FORCE, his avatar on me. I open his 'friendly' rules update thread and much to my horror I see his smiling (some say smug) visage. I clearly have my preferences set to disallow .sig lines and avatars and the fiend has once again called upon his unholy power to deny me the simple pleasure of picture free browsing.

Please, master, allow me to browse without fear of thy countenance!

(The fact that there is a smiley face should indicate that this message is meant to convey humor. If the smiley face failed to make that clear, this disclaimer should do the trick.)
