Thread Subscriptions

When we first moved to the new boards, I could unsubscribe to a subscribed thread within the thread itself. This option is no longer there after yesterday's downtime, meaning one has to go to the User CP to remove subscriptions.

Was this intentional? Can we go back to the in-thread way? It was SO much more convenient, especially for those of us with lots of subscriptions.

Err - I didn't change any settings for subscriptions, as far as I know. Odd. It certainly wasn't intentional.

Perhaps I am blind - but I was never able to unsubscribe to a thread from within the thread. I remember specifically looking and never found such an option. I would always have to go back to the UserCP to do so.

So, if there used to be such an option, then I never found it and therefore can not help. I am still posting as now you have me interested, since it means I have just been blind all this time...

Edit: Okay, after reading your post more closely (read that "no skimming"

) I was able to notice that you said you were able to do that after the boards moved to this upgraded software version. I will say I never went out of my way to look for such an option in this now-current version (though did a VERY meticulous search on the previous software) . Though, I did glance and never found one in this version when I did look.

Yeah, fba827, it was only there for a few days between sytem upgrade and then more system tweaks. It was a great feature, and I hope we can get it back. But maybe I was the only one who ever noticed it!
