While you're updating the SQL can someone update the Gallery Software? its at 1.3.3 and I belive a newer version should be out by now.
People always have problems with permissions and other stuff with it.
In fact, If you want to completly redo the gallery I'd volunteer to... "manage" in case any problems arose and stuff. (Though the regular moderators would still moderate inappropariate pictures).
And maybe we can increase the post count to 25? just that tidbit? please?
Thanks for noting the gallery troubles. It's certainly not going to be updated before Morrus and Thomas Heretic research the bugginess of any updates, but we'll put it on the to do list.

This, at least, I can say yes to - because it's 25 already. Not to hijack, but it looks like it's helping.

slight hijack, cause i didn't want to bother the boards with a whole thread just for my question.
Piratecat - it seems like you're doing an awful lot of tweaking of settings and database-performance duties, and I think that's great.
Are you remotely administering the database? Where is the server physically at? Are you able to (or required to) do these changes because Morrus is no longer doing day-to-day operations?

Our server is physically in Florida. I'm actually not doing any more adjustments than I ever have; heck, I actually think I'm doing less. Morrus and Thomas Heretic are (as always) doing the lion's share of the software research, conversion and installation. I'm just helping out when I notice something and have a free moment, but I'm sort of heading up the "we're changing so-and-so" announcement brigade so that interested people can stay informed.
