Someone else was telling me that recently. It's certainly very interesting. I had no problem reading that first post and understanding it.

Weird. I mean, weird. I can really read that at normal speed provided that I just concentrate a bit.

If there's one dragon, it's a solo monster.
If there's five dragons, they're standard monsters.
If there's a dozen dragons, either most of them are minions or your DM is tired of the campaign.

I think they used these boards as the basis for this philosophy. One more reason for people to be lazy. It is too bad that spelling right in the first place is such a chore. But now, there is an excuse for people who cannot spell that makes other people do the work for them.

What's weird is the first thing that jumped out at me reading this was that you were missing an 'h' in "the". I hadn't even really read the thing yet and I had already noticed that. How odd.

While I am not the best speller, it does annoy me to no end when people use the wrong, but correctly spelled, words that are close...such as using 'to' instead of 'too' ie. "too much coffee." as opposed by 'to much coffee'.

Arrrgh!

What constraints are there on the letters not in the first or last positions? Do they have to be a permutation of the correct letters? If not, do they have to be the right number of letters?

It would be nice if someone could track down the actual article.

I suspect that this is more evidence in support of the finding that people lie to pollsters.

"I can't tell this guy I can't read this, he'll think I'm a looser."

Never trust the results of any survey unless you know how it was done.
