Enjoying the time off

After playing the Original Ravenloft last night as a one-shot, i came face to face with the reality.

i can't play this edition.

i prefer the old game and the old ways.

i'm gonna take time off and reflect.

cya round.

You'll be back, you know it! We may be new-fangled but we all have the same roots. (How's that for a mixed metaphor?)

Run a game; you could find players. And still play 3e- it's full of cool stuff and a lot of neat new eyes.

And for god's sake, hang out here either way!

I agree with the old guy. I just started DMing a 3E game again after taking a break for the same reasons. It's quickly returning to me why I gave it up in the first place.

But that's okay, I still have my other game to play in.

Ciao diaglo, cya round the cubicle.

?????????
so you prefer the old edition, ok that's fine, absolutly nothing wrong with that, but why is that a reason to not post here? Just dont post about rules, heck hang around in Meta or Fantasy books.

It seems like he actually post more since he "left the board" than before, I see his post everywhere now.

One of these days, I've GOT to play an OD&D session with you.

Seriously, just from your enthusiasm alone, it oughta be one heck of a session.

Be sure to bring your extremely-rounded, low-impact dice with the crayon-colored-in numbers!

Can't think of anyone else who could get me to these days, though...
