Adding some more padding to quotes, and simlies

I'm noticing now that I need to put two hard returns after a QUOTE bock to add a line of space between it and following text. The top margin of the block also seems a bit close to preceeding text. Does anyone else notice this, and if so, could the top margin/padding be increased?

I don't think this is browser-dependent, but, FYI, I see the same behavior on both Win IE6 and Mac Safari 1.2.

Oh, and you can never see the "???" on the smiley now. I kinda preferred them (the simleys in general) when they were yellow.

The smilies have been changed to a new set. The ? is very visible on the confused one now, but the difference between and is harder to catch.

Heh. I always did that by reflex anyway, so I always had a gap too large after a quote block.

So that suits me just fine.

But I agree about the lack of space between the top of a quote block and preceding text...

Am I the only one who liked the old smilies better? These Yahoo ones are kinda bleh. No big, tho...

I used to play around with the smilies on my old boards alot. Hours and hours of tweaking.

No, you are not. The old smilies are way better than those new ones.

Especially this one looks just dumb, the old grinning one is absolutely cool in comparison!

I preferred the old ones too; and in fact, even in their white "albino undead" version, over these new ones. But that's really a minor issue, IMO. Don't care much about it. I'd prefer that annoying orange to be replaced by something with more yellowness.
