ENW is incredibly slow right now. Adding features such as "Currently Active Users" will not help... I can only see three reasons for this, and because two of them doesn't make sense, the third reason must logically be the correct one.

1) One of the admins hasn't learned yet that more features makes the board slower.
2) One of the admins know this, but simply doesn't care about it.
3) The crew is preparing for a new server with the knowledge that soon, everything will be faster, lots of features or not. ( Hooray!

Option 4 is "to annoy you."

If you really had the eyes of the hawk, you'd have a blind and really annoyed hawk -- and you'd have noticed that we'd already turned "currently active users" off about five or ten minutes before you posted this. The removal of the postnuke sites has freed up server load, but not as much as we had hoped. We're testing the boundaries a bit, turning on a feature here and there to see what the impact is. If it's negative, they go right back off.
