The exact method varies depending on the type of web browser you're using. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options". The options will appear in a window with a number of tabs; the "General" tab is the one you want.
In the middle of the window is a section labelled "Temporary Internet Files" that has three buttons. Click on the "Delete Files" button.
I don't use any other browsers, so I can't speak for how this is handled on other platforms.
