So I might eventually introduce a character in a pbp game who speaks only sylvan, and thus will not be understood by everyone... I perfer not to spoiler all her text, but there don't seem to be any truely incomprehensible fonts available, and I don't know if there's an easily decoded scramble code as used on usenet. Any suggestions?

Type in Sylvan, and get the players of any other characters who speak it to learn how to read it.

Type your stuff in normal English, take it to a text editor that will do Rot 13 encoding, and them paste it into the post? Rot 13 is common enough that folks who really want to find out what it say can do so with a copy-paste.

Here are some tools to obsfucate your text while keeping it readable through common online utilities (many other can be found with a simple search engine query):

Rot13 translator
Morse code translator
Binary translator
