Faq?

I see that there is a FAQ above, but it's pretty sparse. I'm seeing some threads here regarding frequently asked questions, which would obviously be very well suited for entry into the FAQ. I think we should consier augmenting the FAQ. Right now, it covers all the basic vBulletin stuff (which, incidentally, rarely gets asked).

Thoughts?

The plan at some point is to put the big "THE RULES" announcement into the Faq, but past that, I don't know any specifics. If you have some suggestions as to what topics should be covered in the Faq, feel free to voice them; we're always looking for suggestions for improvement!

If there's one dragon, it's a solo monster.
If there's five dragons, they're standard monsters.
If there's a dozen dragons, either most of them are minions or your DM is tired of the campaign.

Wasn't there once a list with many of those abbreviations and other "netspeak" words in the FAQ?

That's a good suggestion. There are abbreviations that even I don't know used off and on around here.

And something that tells people *where* to post. That might curb some people from posting rules questions in general, or off-topic things in general. We could tell them about the "gamers seeking gamers" area, and the meta area.

Both would be worthy additions.

We could include links to popular threads as well. Mark's uber resource thread comes to mind.

Because, you know, those words underneath each of the forum titles don't mean anything...

Honestly, it would be a waste of time adding this... if people don't bother to scroll down or read the forum descriptions, they're not reading the FAQ either.

The EN World FAQ could just link to all the FAQs on the Wizards boards. Err... wait...
