What are you reading?

What book are you about to, or currently, reading?

I'm half way through Raymond E. Feist's "Fairy Tale".

As soon as I'm finished with that, I'm going to read a Jim Butcher short story in the "Strange Brew" anthology.

I just finished Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow. It's a novel written in free verse about werewolves in L.A. I'm usually not a big fan of poetry, but the way Barlow writes makes it easy to read. The descriptions of werewolf senses, desires, and logic are fantastic. It made me wish I was still running a WoD Werewolf campaign.

I just finished reading the most recent of the Matthew Shardlake novels by C.J. Sansom, 'Revelation'. Awesome, as were the preceding three. Historical detective fiction in Tudor times ftw.

I just finished Marsbound, the latest Joe Haldeman novel. Really good realistic SF.

I'm actually considering rereading Bad Monkeys by Matt Ruff - a fantastic paranoid novel about weird conspiracies. I can't recommend it enough.
