Help me identify a rum cocktail

I was browsing through a magazine the other day, and came across an article for five "exciting new cocktail recipes".

Anyway, one recipe struck me as being quite tasty, so I remembered it. Thing is, I didn't remember what they called it. Here's the recipe:

1 lime, diced and crushed
3 shots of dark rum
3 teaspoons sugar (demerara for preference)
Dash of angostura bitters

Ice optional (works both ways. I've tried both )

So, any idea what it's called? It tastes very different from both a mojito and a caipirinha, despite similar ingredients, but it sounds simple enough that someone must've mixed something like it before.

A mojito contains mint (and sugar and soda water)

Mojito - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Caipirinha I've never heard of, but according to Wikipedia it's not made with rum

Caipirinha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to about.com your drink sounds like a Bolo Cocktail without the orange juice

I figure the bitters involved (looks like you are from the UK, which I think is more informed about bitters) that would be the best way to narrow what you are looking for, but the first link had more recipes than I wanted to read:

It looks like a variation on a caipirissima, which is just a caipirinha that substitutes rum for cachaça. This recipe takes a caipirissima and adds the bitters.

From another angle, looks simply like a Havana-style mojito (mojito + bitters) with the mint leaves left out.

I also know a lot of people who would just lump it in with generic lime rickeys.

EDIT:

I think I found it for you... It looks like a Trinidad Punch.

4 dashes Angostura Bitters
3 oz. Rum
1 oz. Lime
1 oz. Sugar Syrup

Note that some recipes for this cocktail add tangerine, Cointreau and/or Grand Marnier as well, but the basic standard recipe is just rum, lime, sugar and bitters.

Not the name in the article, but close enough, thanks!

Now at least I can name it when I offer it.

That electric lemonade doesn't sound too bad.

As a self-proclaimed "Girl Drink Drunk" I can say unequivocllly, unquivverly, without fear of contradiction that Electric Lemonades are awesome.
