Just picked up the 10-CD set of Glenn Miller. Really love his sound and find that working to 1930-40's music seems easier.

well, today's music purchase was When I pretend to fall by the long winters.
ummm, yesterday I checked out some pink floyd from the library...
and then on saturday I bought the new modest mouse cd. and I think that's all I've gotten new to listen to in the past week...

iTunes is having a 1-year-anniversary free music download. Looks like about 15 or so songs have been designated as free. And a few of them look like they might be of interest to me.

It's called "Glenn Miller Portrait" 24 Carat Gold Edition by Past Perfect/International Music Company AG.

It's 10 hours of Glenn Miller and it's great background/work music. And it has a weird way of making time slippery.

I haven't bought a cd in ages. IIRC, the latest was Manowar's Warriors of the World, when it was released (in '02 or '03).

Unless you count the soundtrack that came with the limited edition of Warcraft III.

Anyway, that's also pretty much what I listen to nowadays. Plus some older Manowar stuff, some Eminem, some other stuff...
