Table Top Tennis. Not Sexy?? What??!!!!

I came across this article and I can't believe it's even an issue. (I would usually just post the link, but the page is coming up all weird.)

BEIJING, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Table tennis is desperate to attract more viewers and some in the sport believe a simple enough solution exists: get the women to wear skirts and shirts with “curves”.
Half-empty stands for women’s games at the Olympics in China, the country most obsessed with table tennis, reinforce concerns that the sport needs a make-over to shed its fusty image.
Women players mostly wear baggy shorts and shirts unlike their tennis counterparts who dress for comfort as well as style.
“We are trying to push the players to use skirts and also nicer shirts, not the shirts that are made for men, but ones with more curves,” International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) vice president Claude Bergeret said.

WTF??
1.) Would you watch this if chicks were in short skirts? Probably a stupid question to pose to a bunch of dudes. But after the initial visual/boner, would you keep watching?

2.) Have you wondered about any other weird sports in the Olympics? I saw the Trampoline finals the other day. I'm still scratching my head about that one.

Sounds like a great idea. It is one of the reasons I enjoy watching beach volley ball, too.
Well. Theoretically, at least.
Practically, I can always find something more interesting to do then watch any type of sports (even if the sports includes half-naked, attractive women, or powerful engines and high speed driving - or both).

Ping Pong is not my favorite spectator sports, but I'll watch it as they are now, even though it is dominated by Asians.

Maybe we should let women wear mini-skirts for the softball sport, now playing its last games in the 2008 Olympic. Baseball will also disappear.

Well, it is an athletic activity, though not part of the standard gymnastic routine. I'm still scratching my head on some of their rhythmic gymnastic floor exercises, involving a ball, a ribbon, and a hoop.

I don't care now, but if they start wearing less and less clothing, I may start to.

No ONE in the Olympics should be wearing baggy shorts, they should all be forced to wear skin tight or skimpy performance enhancing outfits.

I don't even bother to follow the Olypmics, so I don't care one iota.

I don't pay attention to the olympics... I only look at the pictures of the cute olympic women.

When nothing major is announced that's all that matters.

*Hi-five*

It's a good thing a lot of major happenings at E3 2008, since they ban booth babes.

I got an idea: Beach Ping Pong

Just like Beach Volleyball but it's Table Tennis outdoor on the sand with bikini-clad [female] players.
