Eye Of The Hawk....I'm a gamer.

Hello. My name is Amarande. I have been playing role playing games since 2001. I have quite a fondness for 3.5.

Fourth edition is okay but isn't as flexible or simple as third edition. Too many things to keep track of.

It is a character from Terry Pratchetts Discworld.

A wizard that also happens to be the head (Arch Chanceller) of the Unsee University, the biggest and most important Wizard Academy of the Discworld (at least according to its members ).
A Wizard with a certain sense of "practicality", that likes to go hunting and enjoys "fresh air", a concept as arcane to most wizards as magic is to mundane people. He has evaded (=survived) the machinations of his fellow wizards far longer then most previous Arch Chancellors, and now things seem to have settled down...

Welcome to the boards!

What M.R. isn't telling you is that Pratchett's Diskworld novels are some of the best comedic fantasy ever written.
