Mushrooms!

Once a year, if conditions are favorable, a patch of Jack O'Lantern mushrooms grows around an old stump out by my barn. They are bright orange, poisonous, and glow in the dark.

I took a few photos, on my walk out to see them: Mushrooms

A pity they don't last longer. Within a week they will all be dead, black, gelatinous, and smell terrible.

Those are kind of cool. Make me think of myconids...

The link worked for me, not sure if the link was changed recently or not. The mushrooms look pretty neat.

That site doesn't work in Firefox 3 for some reason. I opened it in IE and could see all the pics, but it was just a tall black page with words at the top and the bottom (nothing in between) in FF.

Jack O'Lantern mushrooms? Never heard of them before. They do look pretty neat though.

Now it works for me, too.

They must have fixed something that was broken for FF3 because it works for me now, too, and it definitely didn't work the first time I looked.
