Thoughts of the Arch Chancellor - My weblog on EN World - containing game related material, like: house rules, design theories, reviews, play reports, adventure ideas
also... I'm not sure if this good or bad yet.... the wife got a part time job to go with her existing full-time job.
A good question. Exchanging money for time is what you do as a grow-up. It's a mixed blessing. Just ensure that you two get still to do stuff you really want to do occasionally, even if you have less time. (That's something I always admired about my uncle - he worked a lot and hard, but he still found time to engage in his hobbies together with his friends and took the time to visit his family on holidays). With moderately more money comes moderately more responsibility to use your time wisely.

If he's serving it and you say you're a gamer - it's fantastic, I'm sure.
Yeah, but how is it when he's not serving it. :P See, I live near a rite-aid that serves Thrifty Ice Cream which for some reason doesn't taste right whenever this one specific employee serves it. It's like that guy hates working there so much that it taints the icecream.

And with moderately more money also comes moderately more power. Just ask Iron Man and Batman, they'll tell you.

I work 75 hours a week and the wife will now be 55 hours a week. I have lost friends and most of my hobby outlet this way. If not for EN World I wouldv'e lost it long ago. (not saying I still have not lost it however )
