[Rocketship Empires 1936] Artist Opportunity

Rocketship Empires 1936 launched on February 1st, 2008 and since then has had all three of its pulp science fiction books in and around the top 20 at RPGnow.

With our fourth book on the horizon for next weekend and storming towards our first large scale adventure / module at the end of this month we are now looking for freelance artists to join us on a regular basis.

Specifically we are looking for:

Character artwork and locations / action sequences
and
Cartography for Modules and Starship deck plans suitable for our amazing line up of 1930's era aircraft and surface ships turned into starfighters and starships.

Interested artists should visit and join our forum at www.rocketshipempires.com and become familiar with the look, feel and material for the setting and the books. The forum has an artist and cartographers section where you can post a hello and show off links to a portfolio or examples if you so desire. A PM message via the forums to me to let me know you are available and interested is the next step.

Selected Artists will...

Receive three week advance notice on batch orders for one to three pieces almost every month through the remainder of 2008.
Will receive complimentary copies of PDF books and e-books to use as resources for their art and print books as we get that side of our business online.
Will receive scaled pay based on the complexity of the artwork / black and white versus color, etc...
Will receive a fairly standard contract to review, spelling out terms and conditions based heavily on industry standard contracts through RPGnow's e-publisher resource.
