Web site status

The web site is under construction and is currently down. I'm redoing Ophir as its own sub-web and I am also switching from MSFrontpage to namo WebEditor. Hopefully, it will look cooler when it is all done but it will take a while.

The website is live again with a whole new theme and layout. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Here's a few tidbits.

The banner:

A mock-up of the figure cards.

The new site looks nice. I see you added a bunch of bells and whistles. The layout is easier to navagate. The figure cards looks great! Of course this means double work for Jim, paint figs and take pictures of them, right? Are you going to get mock-ups of the suit cards as well?

Jim was always on the hook for pictures of the figs

I hadn't planned on fancy figure cards, because to be honest it didn't seem like folks appreciated them. But after talking to Jim, he indicated he liked the idea so I worked up the mock-up. All it takes is one satisfied customer and I'll spend any amount of time working these things up .

I gave Jim the copyright because most of the work/beauty of the card is the figure and the picture of the figure. Jim and I worked up a card layout that highlights the figure. We'll probably print them 4 to a page on photographic paper so that they will make for very nice handouts. I'll probably even have an Epson high-end printer for the prints by the time we do the draft.

On the suit card, they will have some sort of background representative of the suit but I wasn't planning anything as fancy as the figure cards. They will probably be smaller as well (for cost reasons). But if you can think of a cool idea for the suit cards let me know and I may try something more elaborate.

BTW if there is something you don't care for in the "bells and whistles", let me know. I don't mind tweaking the site.
