Figures: Your least and most favorite Figures

Jim continually comes across cool figures (and may add a follow up post with some links to give you an idea). Because of the fixed number of figures, in order to add a new one, we'd need to drop a current one (there must be a multiple of the number of players and I'd prefer to stick with 6 per player for now). So that we can make the right drop decisions, please post here your list of least favorite figures (maybe your bottom 5 or so, ordered from very least liked to less least liked).

We can then use that information when adjusting the mix of figures in the draft.

Please use the ID number in the pdf on the figures page (Figure cards). I promise not to alter the ID numbers.

My least favorite is #11 (the male half-celestial archer).

Forced to pick additional ones, I'd pick these next two although I'm not that opposed to them:

#4 (the Van Helsing human)
#6 (female elf, half-bald)

Go ahead and lists favorites if you like (I listed my own portfolio pick on the figures thread).

Interesting- you covered my three least favorites (11, 4, 6) but you also got two I had in my portfolio of choice.

If we do decide to drop figures, we'll try hard to get ones that everyone puts on the least favorite list.

From what perspective of "like" do you want us to list?

Is it the 5 figures that represent characters that we don't want to play?

or

Is it the 5 figures that we find the least interesting from a design point of view? (no offsense here Jim, it is like trying to pick the ugliest woman at a Ms.Universe contest).

Basically, the 5 figures you don't want to play. Pick the five (or fewer) figures you'd like to see replaced with something else (in the hopes it was a figure you are more likely to take).

There will be differing opinions and we won't remove a figure that someone likes. When (or if) the time comes, I'll consolidate the info on this list and propose removing 1-2 figures to give everyone a chance to veto.

Please don't worry about hurting my feelings ... I know you all like figs I paint, but some of the figs won't be your cup of tea ... either because of the sculpt, what you feel like playing, or how I painted it. But, we do want to make sure that everyone feels like they have enough choices in the draft that are the kinds of characters they'd like to play. It's much easier to change a few characters out now then to have someone not really be engaged in the game because they didn't get something that they really liked in the draft.

My lists ...

As I tried to go through the figs to create a list, the only character that I would NOT want to play is the celestial archer ... that guy would appear to be short for this world

If really pushed to come up w/ a list of least likely to play characters, they'd be:

1) 11 - 1/2 celestial archer
2) 6 - elf 1/2-bald female
3) 12 - 1/2 celestial female figher (red lioness)
4) 13 - 1/2 celestial male fighter (guy w/ "metallic" wings)
5) 14 - 1/2 celestial female w/ wings

For me, those choices are based on the fact that I'm currently playing a 1/2 celestial and don't want the two characters "back-to-back" to merge into one "meta character" as I look back in years to come.

My favs list
1). 15 - 1/2 fiend female (w/ arachnid cape)
2). 8 - sacred watcher (dude w/ hawk)
3). 7 - elf female atop waterfall
4). 4 - human witch hunter (van helsing guy)
5). 5 - female pixie

I really want to play a caster this go around and am (for the most part) selecting figures that I think mesh w/ that.

Jim and I have decided to drop the half-celestial male archer guy (and use him for another role we had in mind). For now, we will keep all the other figures. As Jim completes more figures (and finds new ones he really likes), we may make some other trades as well.
