Note that the mix of races, ECLs, good/evil has changed substantially over the last few weeks. If you care about this sort of thing, be sure to review and get feedback to me asap. The window for adjusting this is fast closing
At the moment, the mix is basically:
Very few humans and elves (I think there are 5, if you exclude the two saints, 7 if count them but the Saints are +3 ECL).
Not too many 'must be evil' figures (7, IIRC).
Median figure is ECL 3 or 4.
Fair number of good figures and more benefits for being good. I.e., good is favored.

The slayer seems like an unlikely PC since he is a construct. One thought is to turn him into some sort of assassin demon, about ECL 3 or 4. Comments? If that won't make anyone anymore likely to take him, then I will leave him as is.
Note that when it comes to changing the actual figure, the only likely changes at this point are figures that Jim has not yet started painting (ones still marked 'placeholder' although some of those are now in progress). We already pulled a few figures Jim painted for the draft and I'd rather not do that any more or our painter my go on strike ).

First off, I like the construct so don't change him, and let's keep him.
Second, I think I am the only one who wants a human character. Right now the choices are OK, but let's not limit them anymore.
Also, Marc, I am afraid that you are getting artist's disease. That is you need someone with a hammer to stand behind you. This way they can hit you on the head when everything looks good, so you don't revise it until it worse. Know what I mean?

If someone likes the construct, we'll leave him be. Glad you are okay with the human/elf mix, we did trim it quite a lot.
On the last point, IT MUST BE PERFECT!
Yeah, I've enjoyed fiddling with these but a lot of the changes have been driven by either feedback from the players (Chris & Renee on some of the less-clad females, Jim on other items) and the draft dryruns. I think we are getting close, though.
I take it you like the mix as it is now?

I am still quite interested in the human PCs ... I'm strongly considering a caster and the extra character levels are probably the most important for the casters in the sense that the things that are making a lot of the characters high ECL help fighter abilities more than caster abilities.

Yes, I do like the mix as it is now. There are a couple human warriors that I like and the other humans Jim wants for a spell caster. There are great figs to use for foes, and wonderful ones to use as back-up pc's! Personally I don't plan on playing a spellcaster or a dragon but they will make great foes.

There are a few figures in the draft that are there more for campaign setting flavor then as a PC but even the slayer (now that you have spoken up) and the dragons are possible PC fits for at least one player. As a general rule, I've tried hard to make sure that any given figure would be considered as a PC by at least one player so I've consulted with all who have offered opinions (which I think is everyone now).
There is a lot more setting information I'd like to do before game start but at this point, we can start as soon as Jim finishes the remaining few figures and the current campaign ends.

Just 'cause we can't leave well enough alone (also because Jim and I have been looking hard at trying to balance the draft figures by likely-class, race, gender, etc.), we will be replacing the unpopular male half-blue dragon (figure #4) with a female human fighter. I'll leave it to Jim to post a link to the figure.
