Blite goes on quite a shopping spree, buying a winter blanket, whetstone, grappling hook, another waterskin, 5 days more trail rations, a belt pouch, a sack and 2 vials of anti-toxin. (106gp, 1sp, 2cp in total and a weight of 18lbs)
"Good choice, Alex." Prixo finds himself starting to like the human inspite of himself. It's refreshing that he knows his race is inferior and doesn't try to deny it. Of course, the human would have been well trained by his Mistress to recognize that.
Prixo is surprised by K'yorl's declaration, but doesn't comment.
While waiting for Zarra to speak, Prixo browses the food items in the bazaar. He looks at dried sausages, small bags of nuts, and other long-lasting items of a generally small cross-sectional diameter.
While walking in the bazaar, Zarra asks Alex rather quietly "Do you know that Tierak Morcane fell to disrepute and a low station within her House back in Maerimydra and hasn't been seen in years? Well it makes me think why would they chose her to represent the council? Are you sure that she has told you nothing else?"
As she flutters the little gloaming tilts forward in a bow and says, "Lyssa Shadowing, warrior, formerly a battle leader of the Golden Blades, at your service." Her tiny form makes her statement seem incongruous, but she speaks with a confidence that suggests she is serious.
OOC: Having little money she purchases only a couple of skins of wine and water as well as as two ten days of trail rations (10gp total spent).
Alex replies to Zarra "My Matron tells me what she feels I need to know. I am happy just to be able to serve her." grinding his teeth at the thought he may have been deceived. He eyes Ardyth wondering if the taint of this place has captured her yet or if she was tainted before arriving here. His stomach twists with the thought of the slaughter he had just witnessed. "Balance may yet be achieved" he whispers under his breath. He looks cautiously toward Hael, with his hand on his chain, ready to intervene if he raises his axe towards Ardyth. "How long have you been down here Ard..." noticing for the first time her beauty and reminding to himself not to let attraction become attachment. "..yth". Clearing his throat he walks up to stand beside her.
Walking through the bazaar, Prixo and the others find many of the less well-established merchants selling all manner of dried food stores, ranging from parcels of dried meats and fruits to individual vats of bulk strips of dried mushrooms, meat, fruit, and even exotic surface vegetables. Accosted during their walk but three or four overzealous merchants who push right into personal space to loudly proclaim their wares, the party continues walking down the byway, purchasing this or that item in open preparation for their upcoming voyage.
Ardyth, Blite, and Hael notice that a drider, carefully weaving in between market stalls and shop fronts, follows at a discrete distance of 50 feet behind the party.
Lyssa does not like pushy vendors and will tell them in no uncertain terms to back off. Her rapidly blooming hangover and the events at the playhouse have left her ill tempered and spoiling for a fight. "If I wish to purchase your goods, I will inform you. Until such time as I do so, remove yourself at least the length of my Glaive lest you get poked."
Alex would like to purchase a MW climber's kit, I believe it would cost 130 gp. If my math is incorrect please let me know. While shopping in the Bazaar I will stay close to Ardyth and check to notice her mannerisms to see if she has yet to succumb to this environment. Being the only other human I feel a need to protect her but I want to ensure I don't get a knife in my back for the effort.
Addressing everyone, Zarra quietly states "I have more that I wish to speak to you all about, though I am not sure if it's wise to do so until we have left the city."

She turns to the only other human in the group and nods.
"As best as I can figure, I've been down here about two years."
