The priest pales slightly and his jaw drops as he realizes his new responsibility. He shakes it off quickly and tries to sound like he knows something about ships, "All right then you sea dogs, bring in some of that canvas. Do you want to end up another wreck on the shore? You in the crows' nest! What do you see? Who's fighting? I need some information here. Ease to um ah port, lets run along the shore until we figure out what's going on."
ooc: 7 endurance checks: 10, 10, 17, 14, 25, 14, 15. Well, that was as sorry a set of seven rolls as I've ever made. If the DC is 14 or less, Leng barely makes it. If it's more than 14, he fails very quickly.
Seeing the alchemist in danger, Wang focuses, and moves to seek the best opening to strike his foe. He brings his jian in a perfect thrust under the creature's left arm.
OOC:
Shift as neede to flank the demon
Attacking with Paladin's Judgement (daily power) Attack 22, Damage 18 Yess!!!!!
Ziang may spend a healing surge as a free action
Remember every time it attacks Ziang, the demon takes 5hp radiant damage!
We're alone Captain! And did you get to see that ship's sail? Who are those men?
Saying so, Koryo moves sideways and, observing the pirates like a hunted tiger would, prepares to face their swarming.

Kaoru, grimacing, tries to follow master Jiem, alarmed by the cryptic words of his master and even more alarmed by the strange energies emanating from the ships...all in all, the day has not been very good, and he strongly suspects that it can get even worse. The pain on his said is still bleeding, and he has to hold a hand over it in order to advance. It is quite the ordeal, but his fear gives him wings...but probably wings not strong enough to keep up with the master who is speeding away.
From the PHB:
If you are grabed you are inmovilized:
If a pull, a push, or a slide moves you or the creature you’re grabbing out of your reach, the grab ends
Escape:
You attempt to escape from an enemy who has grabbed you . Other immobilizing effects might let you make escape attempts.
ESCAPE: MOVE ACTION
✦ Acrobatics or Athletics: Make an Acrobatics check vs. Reflex or an Athletics check vs. Fortitude against the creature or effect that immobilized you.
Success: You end the grab and can shift as part of this move action.
Failure: You’re still grabbed

The captain grins, “Friends” he declares.
You move in the water, as do the captain, assuming a defensive position. The pirates move as well, studding your moves. One of them takes the lead and attacks Koryo, barely hitting him weakly.
“The standing slip is a Merchant slip sir!” reports the sailor on the crows’ nest. “The wrecked ship seems to be a pirate one. I can see people fighting near the wreckage too!”
After hearing the calls of the sailor, the officers ask you “What are yer orders sir?”

Master Jien quickly leaves his students biting the dust. He turns his head as he was disappearing behind the school door. “We’ll work on your resistance once this is over. Be preparing your legs for a trip around the island.” He says with a half smile before shutting the door close.
As the three of you run towards the school, you see the boat leaving four dark figures on the beach which quickly cut the distance to the school walls, and you see them no more.
Moments later a woman’s scream of fear breaks the morning silence.
You made heart of guts, and made haste, although the intense pain of your wounds.
When you open the door, a chaotic scene is shown. You see students lying dead in a pool of their own blood, others are also lying but not as dead. There are a few hidden behind some of the plants. Burn marks in the grass, like the ones lightning leaves after a storm. You can identify the black figures that came from the boat. Two of them are dead, on the ground, with no bloodstains, just a big hole in their chest.
Another one is also dead, lying over the roof of the Master’s house.
One of the students jumps outside his hideout when he sees you. “Master Jien is inside his hose, fighting another of those fiends! We… We hide there… We are just beginners… they’ll have butchered us like they did with the senior students… I…” the young boy can’t find words in the state of shock in which he is now. The other students seem to be worst, shaking in fetal position.

OOC: I thought escaping from a grab was a standar action. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would just leave a move action for you, and shifting is the only way to keep the lizard from striking at you. The lizard Demon scored a critical hit, so it's damage was 12

Koryo attacks the pirate in front of him, but he stumbles in some invisible obstacle underwater, which gives the man time to duck and evade the blow.
Koryo grits his teeth and retreats back. I really do hope so, Captain, because here our straits are dire!
