His anger roused by the sailors unwillingness to repeat his authority, Ban Lu steps forward. He calls the divine power of his faith and suddenly a gleaming shield of divine energy appears over him and the officers. "You were warned and you will pay for your insolence."
OOC: Ban Lu will try to move so that both officers are within the burst 5 area of his Shield of Faith Cleric Utility 2. He and his allies will be granted +2 AC for the rest of the encounter. If this is not possible based on the map I'll edit the post.
The guardsman does not answer the ruffians, as his spear skitters off the beast's scales. He drops the quiaang, closes with the beast as he smoothly draws his jian, and slices at the beast with a mighty two-handed strike, calling on his art and training.

Waving the captain closer to keep their talk as secret as possible in the open space, Koryo mumbles on in a sailors speak distintly different than the one he used the night before while pretending to be intimidated by the captain's attention.
"Sir! I am sorry sir! Not to disrespect the captain was what I meant!"
Growing more quiet with every word, Koryo force the captain to lean ever closer. "There's strange talk on this boat Sir! Strange talk! Two sailors I've overheard."
“… Yes I have heard that the Black Veil assassins came to Tiger’s rest last month.” One of them says “What? ” the other says in surprise “What would they possibly be searching there?” “That I don’t know, but the captain saw their lieutenant speaking with the mayor, of what he didn’t tell me.”
"And than, later that night... I saw a shadow against the moonlight. A bad omen Sir! Very bad sir!."
Handing the captain the spyglass, he finally adds. "And now.. Sir! Please take a look at this flag on th's ship yonder! No pirate no Sir! No ordinary pirates are these!"
And than.. just for the briefest of moments, startling the captain who had to lean close enough to listen, Koryo straightens his shoulders, looking the captain straight into the eyes as he switches to the Assassins voice he used during the night.
"Be afraid of the Veil! Never try them!"
Stumbling away, Koryo busies himself with a rope.

Mumbling something, Kaoru stands two or three paces far from the window, and if he spots something inside, he will cackle madly, say "Taste this weapon", and crack another bolt of energy

Lucky insults the bandits with nasty nasty words, that neither Shen nor Kaoru ever heard.
Shen quietly rounds the corner toward the back of the house. He discovers a back door, which seems not to be barred.
When Kaoru steps near the window he sees one of the bandits, with his bow loaded. The young warrior raises his hand to channel the Chi through them, but the arrow was faster, and struck him in the chest. Kaoru’s bolt goes wide hitting furniture, making it explode in pieces. (Kaoru is now at 7 hps.)
The captain looks at you frowning. When he hears the night visitor’s voice, his eyes widen, as if he was watching at a ghost. Hasty he takes his spyglass and watches the ship ahead. After looking it for a moment, he close his spyglass and the now pale captain speaks to his crew again. “Men! Today we are not going to fight… I… have.. a premonition… Our time to fight will come eventually. Helmsman! Turn to Singing Spring again, full speed!”
He walks between the complaining sailors until he is close to you. “Come to my cabin sailor” he said to you before disappearing behind his cabin’s door.

Kaoru lets out an evil hiss, then the Chi takes another shape in his hand and flies in the house, clearly heading for the bandit, but then suddenly looses shape and dissolves. Kaoru hisses again then tries to concentrate on something.
ooc: eyebite, 8 to hit. I don't remember wether second wind is move action. If yes, I use it to gain 4 hit points.
New maps are up, check them out. Also, I'm starting to stat up some of the creatures. For now we just have the Lizard Demon. Feel free to leave you opinions/suggestions in the OOC thread.
The holy monk surrounds himself and the officers with a shield of light. One of the mutinied crewman tries to slice the officer’s throat but ends cutting the air instead. The other one take his chance with the other officer. He is luckier, and sink his short jian in the officer’s (2) back. The stabbed man closes his eyes with the pain, but it seems the blade didn’t cut through nothing vital. He releases the grabbed sailor and counterattacks, making a good swing, but the nimble sailor evade the blade at the last moment.

The now free rebel, see his chance, with both officers giving him their backs.
He draws his blade and stabs the already stabbed officer. The man is pierced again, and his clothes stain with blood.
The other officer continues to fight the other mutinied sailors; he makes a quick succession of cuts, but is unable to find his match.

The wounded mercenary swing his jian with lethal precision, making a good cut (6) in the Lizard demon’s hide. From behind, the archer shoots an arrow, this time, it hits true (5), and sinks in the fiends left arm. The leader leads the attack, but fails in his cut, although, you feel more confident for your next attack (+1 to attack rolls for everyone in a 5 feet radius from the leader.)
A little sack with powder comes flying from Ziang’s hand. It hits the ground to release its content. The powder strengthens Wang Chi’s Armor and makes the demon take a step backward, coughing. Seeing a golden chance, Wang advances, and wih a glorius cut, he dispenses a huge cut, filled with radian energy. It seems that the demon was quite vulnerable to this radiant cut, because the wound starts cracking a widens considerably(5 additional damage).
The demons seems overwhelmed by his foes, and makes a big swing with it’s tail, before trying to escape. He hits his three attackers, pushing them two squares away, making no more than a bruise (3), before running away.
The other archer let loose an arrow that loses from your sight in the night. The roar of the beast lets you know I stroke true (5).
The mercenaries relax; they don’t seem to be ager to follow the beast.
OOC: You can choose to follow the creature or not, it’s up to you. The map's name is Troubles in the night. You can check out the lizard demon as well, since you fight it, it's ok your characters now know at least it's attacks and defenses. You can keep a "bestiary" IC or something. It could be cool.

The young officer does not hesitate. He springs afer the demon, his sword moving in such a way it seems to catch the moonlight as he strikes.

Ziang runs after the guard. When he pass by the mercenaries, the leader gives him a grim glance and say “Go, you probed yourself to me. For what we know, the Lizard demon ate you. We will tell that to our lord.” With that, the mercenary group disappears in the shadows of the night.
Wang is able to catch up with the demon, but his blade bounces off the creature, deflected by it’s scales. The creature turns and seeps Wang Chi with his tail. Wang hits his back with the ground, from where he watch the lizard running away.

The demon is now at 6 squares from Wang Chi

Wang sets his face to ward off frustration as he regains his feet (move action), and resumes the chase (moves 5 squares in pursuit, should be one square away from the demon.)
Koryo keeps himself busy for a short while longer, as if nothing had happend.
As people take up their tasks to turn ship, he takes a final look at the positioning between the ships and heads into the captain's chamber

Ziang follows Wang. He looks at his crossbow, sighs and aims and shoots for one last try.

Striding froward (to I4), Ban Lu raises his gun and divine radiance streams from it as he swings it at the crewman's head (1d20+4=13).
OOC: Hope he isn't wearing armor. Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier radiant damage, and the target is marked until the end of your next turn. In addition, you or one ally within 5 squares of you can spend a healing surge. If I hit then the wounded officer can spend a healing surge. Or can he spend it even if I miss? I'm not sure. If I hit damage (2d8+4=12).

Seeing the crossbow bolt strike Koryu, Leng is filled with shame at his cowardice, standing behind walls and letting a friend take the first blow. With a wordless cry of rage, he bounds into motion, rushing inside the room, aiming to strike down shooter.
ooc: move: into the room, SW of the B on the map. Standard: attack with spinning sweep: Hits AC 21 for 5 damage, and the target is knocked prone if that hits. Also use combat challenge on that guy.
