Once again Djaar harries the Goblin Chief. Taking a hard look before striking for the Goblin Chief's weak armor points.


OOC

Move to far side of GC (stealth)

Minor Perception check

13 to hit AC for 5 damage (does not include condition modifiers)

I'm not sure I understand who I am on the map, hence the vague move action. Once I start to get into the swing of things and understand the character better I'll be more help to the group. This is the first time I have played either a Drow or a Rogue or a Sorcerer. Open to suggestions.

you are represented by (Dr) and are at 95e70n on the map.
the goblin Chief (GC) just stepped away from you, but Vorgrym (V), a tempest fighter, may move to attack him before your initiative. Moving to flank with (V) may provoke from the goblin guard (g), unless someone kills it first.

Tactics
Spoiler:
I would suggest if you can't get CA vs the chief, then kill the guard.(likely a minion)
Darkness will block all the other PCs, Darkfire would grant CA but is difficult to hit with due to the annoying purple fog. (-2 hit from your annoyance, -2 hit due to concealment)

Thanks, Djaar will do just that, if he can get CA vs the GC he will attack GC and take the OA, using sneak attack damage. In the event of GC being reduced to 0hp or fewer, non-lethal damage. If no CA vs GC, strike the guard, non-lethal damage.

Sensing the tide in the battle is turning, Vorgrym moves to the side of the chief, hoping to set up a flank. The drow brings dagger around, catching the chiefs weapon as plunges his blade towards the chief's chest. The goblin is able to dodge out of the way at the last second though.

Move to 85, 100. Use Footwork lure to attack. Miss. Roll Lookup
Mark the chief.

(OOC: Majestic Word on Dris - he spends surge and heals an additional 4 hp). "That's right, you heard me!" Raelyn shouts, somewhat redundantly (OOC vicious mockery misses).

Vorgrym’s stab leaves himself open, and at the shaman’s urging the goblin chief returns the blow. The distracting illusions from the previous round, saves the tempest from a vicious wound.

The Drow’s mental and emotional assaults have no obvious consequences, but Drisdhaun looks better. Javlix neatly scales the dragon statue and grabs hold of the Shaman.
While Drisdhaun weakly attacks the last guard.
Djaar shifts into flanking the goblin chief, but his dagger strikes nothing but mist.

The Goblin Chief yells up to the Shaman, Pull the cloud over to you!
He stabs Vorgrym then tries to retreat, shiftting and dashing to between the high dias and the statue (far enough to get cover from Raaelyn, Nashquiri and Drisdhaun.) As he moves he takes his eyes off Vorgrym, and receives a vicious wound. The flesh around the wound begins to blacken.

The goblin shaman shrieks and begins to beat Javlix with his rod, attempting to dislodge him from the statue. The shaman gets a lucky blow in and the Ranger’s eye swells up. But he has only enough attention to keep the cloud stationary, as he squirms in Javlix’s grasp. The spider chatters angrily as it fails to clear its vision.

The guard wounds Drisdhaun again, and your goblin guide dashes back over and tries to wack the guard, failing again.

As the welt on his eye begins to swell, Javliex utters a curse under his breath. "That was the wrong thing to do, cretin!" He whistles once, and ushers Saereth a few steps to its right (Minor action to shift spider to 95,70) then with a yell, he grabs the goblin with both hands and tries to throw him off the statue... sending the goblin crashing down into the goblin chief directly below them. (Standard action: Move a grabbed target plus Athletics stunt: STR vs Fort to move a grabbed target, sending shaman into square 90,65 landing onto goblin chief for falling damage and/or knocking one/both goblins prone / Athletics stunt check for Javilex to remain holding onto statue and not fall with him)

If the shaman does indeed go flying off the statue and crashing down into the chief below him, Javliex quickly climbs down behind both of them. (Move action to 90,60)

Djaar moves again against the Chief. Stalking toward the most advantageous attack position before striking.

Reflecting as he moves how this is always how his battles ended, him covered in blood, wounded and barely moving, but his opponent laying motionless. Djaar flashes back, moments during suicide missions, hearing his superiors give the orders, expecting no return.

Clearing his mind, Djaar strikes the Goblin Chief, making every effort to twist his blade toward the inferior beings heart.

move to flank with Javilex, I don't know where Javilex will be positioned yet.

Standard Piercing Strike on GC 20 to hit reflex for 8 damage (22 to hit with CA and add 5 sneak attack damage)

Vorgrym moves out of the damning mist and confronts the goblin chieftan again. "Why do you run? Are you afraid yet?" The drow thrusts once again with his short sword, and grabs ahold of the goblin's shirt.
The chief evades his clumsy attack and slips from his grasp.

When Vorgrym misses, the shaman yells “Stab him!” and the chief does.
Javlix hurtles the shaman down on his chief, knocking them both to the ground.
He is left clinging to the statue with one hand and takes a moment to recover. Javlix can see that there is a little platform built into the dragon with a door in the south wall. His spider manages to clear its eyes and is ready to return to the fray.

Djaar follows up and stabs the prone chief.
The chief rises to his feat and cuts down Vorgrym “Not any more. Who is licking death now?"
The shaman gestures and the purple fog rolls into the corner of the room. The two goblin leaders stand back to back, ready to take all comers. This is the endgame for leadership of the goblin tribe. (OOC: everyone gains a +2 moral bonus to hit)

The goblin guide finally succeeds in hitting the last guard with the flat of his blade. “I got him I’m the new goblin champion!” He begins to dance and caper.

Drisdhaun moves to 85,85 (move), calls to Vorgrym "You would shame your heritage by letting a goblin cut you down, stand and finish him" (Inspiring word , Vorgrym can spend a healing surge and gain a bonus 4 hitpoints of healing, minor).

He then looks at the goblin chief and yells "finish him" as a ray of murky darkness flies from his hand illuminating him for the Drow (Dark Fire 27vs Reflex, minor, the Chief grants combat advantage and cannot benefit from concealment till the end of my next turn)

Vorgrym stands, Drisdhaun's call inspiring him to stand once more. He lashes out at the chief with his blades. His short sword connects again, but his parrying dagger glaces off the goblin's own weapon.

The warrior feints with his dagger, distracting the chief for a moment. He thrusts with his short sword, but the weapon is dodged by the quick goblin.

Move action to stand. Dual Strike. 21 and 10 to hit, 9 and 3 damage. Roll Lookup

Vorgrym’s clothes matted with blood stop Vorgrym from bleeding further.
Nashquri advances into the room and attempts to bring the fog to life around the chief, but is ineffective. Raelyn’s words are answered with an inarticulate growl.
Saereth bounds forward and bites at the shaman who has caused him such discomfort, but cant reach him in the fog. Javlix is distracted for a moment by his beasts unexpected attack, but still manages to swing himself down to the ground.

The Shaman makes a break for it up the stairs, taking a pair of vicious blows from the prone Vorgrym and the spider. From the top of the dias, he hexes Vorgrym – “ Come closer and Lord Maygrbut will eat your soul!” OOC: Vor will take 3d6+1 damage if he moves during his turn.

The goblin guide moves to cut off the Shaman.

Nashquiri points his staff and a ball of shadows explodes next to the birdman and human. The shadows worm their way into the humans mind and he feels thousands of spiders crawling over him, affecting his mind. The wizard then calls down his innate ability to create a patch of darkness over the two creatures.

Vs Will(Human); Vs Will(B); Psychic Damage (1d20+6=26, 1d20+6=17, 1d8+4=12)
Crit'd the human for 12 damage and he is dazed TENT (from staff) & slowed (power)
Hits Will 17 on Birdman for 12 damage as well, slowed if it hits as well.
If someone enters the area TENT takes 3 more psychic damage & is slowed TENT
