He points, also vaguely, to an area not more than 3-4 days journey from Winterhaven, and says, "So sorry that the cartographer didn't think to mark 'kobold lair' on this map, but he had no idea that it was there! I guess, then, you're pretty much on your own?"

When Verna hears Basher7's 'clank' she thinks at first that someone has dropped something. She looks around on the floor for a moment, but seeing no dropped object to retrieve, she soon straightens and leads you out.
You find yourselves, once again outside the gates of the Manor House in Winterhaven.
