We could be in trouble here . . . time to get a little tricky!
Aimhirghin focuses his attention on the tough looking Kobold facing off against Tarrk and sends an arcane bolt of malignant will its way. Maybe his inexperience tells, or possibly the chaos of the combat interferes with his focus . . . either way, the attack goes wide. The bard, confident of eventual success, shakes off his failure and tries again, this time striking his chosen target with the arcane energy. The creature glances 'round at the swirling chaos of the battle, perhaps wondering how the shifter - 15 feet away from him and surrounded by foes himself - could have struck him.

Hi I'm a comic and rpg nerd. Don't hurt me, please.
Khellek will snarl in anger as the pair of kobolds strike him with their tiny weapons. "Selune, wash away my pain and punish these creatures" as he grasps his holy symbol.
A burst of silver light emanates from the shifter, healing his allies and weakening his foes. After the burst, Khellek shifts closer to Basher.
Elerosse stays behind his friends, out of sight, moving back a step. Elerosse mumbles the arcane words he knows so well, causing the sounds of armor scraping on stone to drift towards the advancing kobolds from ahead.

OOC: I think N4 is at the 10 square limit for the Ghost Sounds cantrip 4e PH p. 158.
Elerosse moves around the rock and using his wand casts a Magic Missile at the kobold nearest him.

Reason: edit for 4e completeness--change to MM due to range
Tarrk has gotten soft from having regular meals served to him by wenches in inns, and swings wide with his mighty maul, missing. Basher7, however, moves somewhat and thoroghly slays the kobold at M17. Khellek intones divine words, and a burst of silver light erupts from the shifter that strengthens all of his allies except Elerosse (man, you're just outisde the range of the spell, too!), and causes horrific moans to erupt from all of the kobolds. Elerosse launches a bolt of force that strikes the kobold in O15 dead. The bolt of force from Aimhirghin's Misdirected Mark strikes the Dragonshield facing Tarrk and inflicts 7 damage.
The Kobold facing Tarrk strikes at him with his short sword, but, it is distracted by Aimhirghin's spell (that it is just sure came from Khellek, for some reason) and and thanks to Khellek's spell wouldn't have done much damage even if it had hit.
Khellek and Aimhirghin are, likewise struck by the spears of two kobolds, but they only take 2hp damage each.
Basher7 is missed.
The kobold in N13 is on his way to pay Elerosse a visit, and he does not look happy. (Not that kobolds ever do! I mean, if you were short, brown and scaly, would you be happy? I didn't think so.)
A nicely detailed description, but you didn't say anything at all about Aimhirghin's actions so I'm not sure if you took them into account. In a nutshell, he did 7 points of damage to the Dragonshield facing Tarrk, and caused it to be marked by Khellek - which means that its attack against Tarrk was at -2 to hit. If you took care of it but didn't say it's cool . . .
Shoot! Sorry man, I read that and everything, but I forgot to go back that far and include the results in my post. I fixed it now, though. Honestly, I don't remember what I rolled for the kobold's attack, so I don't know if the -2 made a difference or not, but since it was my fault, I'll rule in your favor on that.
Walking Dad, you read this sblock, didn't you? It pertains to Tarrk, and saved him taking a hit. Yeah, you saw it! Still have full hp in your mini-stat block.
Aimhirghin notices the kobolds closing on his position.
You think you're clever, but I'm more cunning than you, and my song is strong!
With a stroke of his fingers across the small drum at his waist, the cunning Bard sends pains shooting up the Kobold's (O17) legs, causing its feet to tangle and sending it stumbling backwards, exposing it to attack from Basher7.
Elerosse calls forth his arcane power as he shoves his hand forward at the kobold in front of him, casting Thunderwave.

Seeing the kobold stabbing his friend, Aimhirghin, Khellek growls loudly as he swings his longsword towards the spear-wielder. "Watch out Aimhirghin!" the shifter calls out as he strikes, trying to shift closer to the kobold threatening their wizard ally.
As the kobold stumbles toward him propelled by Bardic magic, Basher7 turns to pound (1d20+9=22) the little guy into the dust with a fierce blow (1d10.minroll(3)+6=13) of his Craghammer. Getting into the fight now, Basher7 lets out a roar that in keeping with his mechanical nature sounds somewhat like a steam whistle. He throws his might behind the next attack (1d20+8=18) and smashes (1d10.minroll(3)+9 =12) the hapless kobold (KD at M18) in the face.

Sorry for the delay, I have some RL issues that have been limiting the amount of attention that I can give to posting. I'll try to resolve the round as soon as possible, though! Thanks for your patience.
(Don't look now, but I got to it tonight after all! )
Aimhirghin struck his opponent harder than he thought with his power. Before it stops sliding, even, it is already dead. Aimhirghin calls to Basher7, who immediately pivots and beheads the already dead kobold. Tarrk is looking for an edge against his foe, so he shifts his stance slightly and re-grips his weapon. The strategy evidently works, because he strikes a telling blow on the Kobold Dragonshield (-11). After beheading the hapless kobold, Basher7 returns his attention to his primary opponent and brings his potent craghammer down n the creatures head (-13). Elerosse is not able to hit his foe with his arcane power, the Wave of Thunder just passing over its shoulder. His foe is the only Kobold still standing, other than the two Kobold Dragonshields facing Tarrk and Basher7.
