Whin looks around, noting that the blade had dissapeared - He frowned slightly, but shrugged and returned to following the group. Apparently the blade had gotten better at hiding than the last time they'd travelled together.
(Preliminary OOC note: One feature that I forgot to mention before is that the door to the north out of this room at the east end of the ground floor of Londar's mansion is marked with bloody handprints, but the blood is dried and flaking. Sorry for the omission!)
The east end of the mansion is the tower portion of Londar's dwelling. The room is now a complete wreck: plush cushions that once lined the many chairs and sofas are slashed and shredded. Several small tables in the room have been broken and destroyed as well. A wide stairway climbs along the outer edge of the tower, the northern staircase going up, and the southern one going down. A landing marks each level, with a door blocking further progress. Soot marks along the walls surrounding the 2nd floor landing hint of a recent fire. The door leading to the second floor of Londar's tower is a thick, sturdy door that is painted red and is secured by a strange-looking, but good quality lock.
The searches that I have been given rolls for do not reveal anything more to you, sorry. (On the other hand, I'll reward Sam's 27 Spot check by saying that the door to the second floor of the tower gives Sam a somewhat uneasy feeling.)
Surprisingly, the stained glass windows in this room are intact. As soon as Sam opens the door, he sees this, and he also sees two wooden constructs move as soon as the door is opened and begin to move toward the door.
"What kind of self-respecting wizard uses wooden constructs?" asks Vaidun from the rear of the group, peering past his companions.

On Laz's turn he will cast Mirror Image for 1d4+4=6 Images of himself.
On Gomlars initiative he will run without regard for the intricates of the home and through the shortest direct route to Laz as instructed... if this means though walls so be it..... heh

"Wooden?" Whin's voice is incredulous as he cranes his neck around the door from his position to get a better look. "Interesting, though I doubt the golem will be needed for such a paltry task." Razor cheers with delight as Whin draws it.

Sure! Map to come soon, probably tonight. Feel free to specify coordinates of pcs before then. Otherwise, I'll just use my best judgment.
OOC: As previously stated somewhere in this thread, Vaidun is remaining toward the back, with the rearguard behind him and everyone else in front.

No one specified any positions, except for Rhun, who just stated the ovious. Both of the wood golems let out a piercing shriek and move (stiffly and slowly, but they are moving, really!) to attack. So, anyway, here's what we got! Roll initiative asap, please.
Secret DM stuff
AC 17, DR 5/+1, HD 9d10 (55,55) half damage from blunt weapons, immune to electricity and cold; Atk +11 (2d6+5) X2, slam, SQ - alarm (piercing howl)
"Wood? Perhaps I can light these on fire... perhaps not..."
Nilah muttered aloud, readying himself for combat. He hadn't fought constructs much, as last he'd checked, his magic didn't work on them... though, most constructs weren't made of wood, either...

Blade is somewhat surprised by the appearance of the golems, his attention diminished by the relative quiet of their investigations so far. He slashes with his longsword at the wooden constructs, hoping to damage them although his experience with battling these types of foes was definitely limited. After his slash, Blade sommersaults out of reach, not wanting to find out what they were capable of doing if they got their hands on him.
Razor(Greatsword) is magical and Adamantine for beating DR.

Nilah swiftly draws his rod of withering, attempted to strike the creature with a burst of arcane power in addition to the blow itself, hoping to catch the creature aflame and end this combat swiftly. Though, he did wonder whether catching a being inside such close quarters would be wise... he knew of no better strategy for swift disposal of a melee combatant.

Vaidun steps back away from the golems to ensure they can't strike at him, and calls to mind several spells. He holds back though, waiting to see what his companions are capable of.

Most constructs are immune to ability damage/drain, which Nilah would probably know. I mention this in case the str/con damage is a limited-use resource.. or does it just always go off on every hit?
Also don't forget that Eldritch blasts are subject to SR with the exception of Vitriolic blast.
