Having re-shuffled themselves and come to rest once again, the party begins making its way toward Londar Brightrain's mansion following the branch off of the Horrik Trade Road. [More to follow later....]
Vaidun will stay on rearguard with Blade. Should trouble come from that direction, the wizard will do his best to insert his companions between himself and the sourve of the trouble.

It may be. I'd even go so far as to say that it probably is. Anyway, what it does is allow you and an ally to magically and instantly switch places. (I'm not sure, it might even allow you to switch spots with an enemy, but there'd surely be a Will save involved in that.
Interesting. Do you know the spell leve? Has to be 1-3, right? Because Dimension Door is 4th and sounds more useful.

I don't know the level by heart, no. I was thinking 3rd or 4th. Remember, it's essentially TWO Dimension Doors operating simultaneously, so I guess that it might even be fifth.
Sorry about this strange interlude, guys! Sheesh, Rhun, we've really got to remember to take these things to the OOC.
Vaidun smiles at Blade. "Well, I guess we're in the back." Then he turns to the rest of the group. "Lead on, mighty companions."

As they approach the mansion, Whin decides it's about time and begins to chant as they walk, making strange gestures - or at least, to most they would appear strange. The multitude of mages travelling with him now, however, are likely familiar with such things.
He had no trouble being placed where he was - If he found himself needing to be where one of the mages was, a simple arcane gesture and it would be so.

Activating my mid-duration buffs:
Ebon Eyes (Lvl 1): See naturally in natural/magical darkness. 120 minutes
See Inisibility(Lvl 2): Allows you to see invisibile creatures. 120 minutes
Heroics(Lvl 2): Gain Combat Expertise feat. 120 Minutes.
Greater Mage armour(lvl 3) is allready active and figured into his stats, as it's a 24 hour duration. (Whin casts it each night before bed, or each morning when he awakens if he's out of spell slots the night before.):
It seems like a mage of Londar Brightrain's reputation should have a home that is quite a bit larger than what you see before you, or at least something more colorful than Londar's relatively simple mansion. The house itself has but one floor, though it appears to have high ceilings, from the size of the windows. There is a tower at the back of the mansion that rises to a peak 90 feet above the foundation. The tower was the first part of the mansion that you saw as you approached, it becoming visible when you were still over one mile away. The walls are made of gray granite, and it appears to be quality construction. There are a number of windows in the mansion, two that flank the front door (which faces to the west), nine on the north wall, six on the south wall, and five on the curving east wall, which is the base of the tower. Almost all of the windows, which are made of formerly beautiful stained glass, are broken out. The broken windows hint at the looting that has taken place here.
"Hmmm," says Vaidun, looking over the place. "I expected somewhat more. My own home in Waterdeep is almost as large." The dark-skinned wizard chuckles. "Though I don't have a high tower. Do you think perhaps the Rainbow Mage was compensating for a lack of something else?" Vaidun continues to chuckle.
FYI Leif...I have a massively hard time with rounded corners when I try to draw in Excel too. A lot of rooms in the ToEE that were originally round end up being octagonal on my maps! LOL.

OOC: Thanks, man. It's good to know that it wasn't just my lack of Excel prowess.
OOC: Just as a warming I too am not able to have access to excel atm... I'm currently trying to find my old CD Key for office 2000 which is the cloestest thing I have to an excel program.... yeesh heh
EDIT: DL'ed a trail version of office 2007... so it seems one square is 5 ft.. does that mean Gomlar can enter the mansion without worry of breaking things?

Yes, one sqaure is 5 feet, if that isn't on the map. It should be, I think, maybe. But to answer your question - I guess that depends upon how wide Gomlar is. Can he fit through the doorways?

OOC: I believe there is the ability to "squeeze" in 3E, allowing a large creature to move through a smaller space, so I would think he can move through.

"Before we do anything else, let me have a quick look around."
Sam will circumnavigate the mansion on his mount, looking in windows and looking for anything unusual, such as evidence of a heavy object being dragged off, or a secret entrance. (ooc: Spot +12)
He will also use the air walk ability of his mount, directing it up and onto the roof of the house. If he sees anything dangerous, he will head back down instead of landing on the roof. Otherwise, he'll take a closer look at the tower and whatever else is there. He will then ride down and report to the party.
While Sam moves off to scout, Vaidun takes a moment to prepare his protective spells should they encounter any trouble.
OOC: I'll put together the list of spells shortly.
