The first thing that grabs you about the Imperial Gazetteer is the cover. Malcolm McClinton has once again put together a gorgeous image that wraps around to the back. It's fantastic piece of art and... [Read More]
This is not the first Doctor Who RPG. The first one published was a system created by FASA back in the mid 1980s, which used a similar system to their Star Trek RPG. I used to run that game back in... [Read More]

Please let me know which cover you like better or if you feel that I should drop the texture effect completely and go with a flat grey cover.
I like the second one better.
And I have to say I really like this thread. There is some good stuff here. I've downloaded the files and will take a closer look at them when I can find the time.

Due to a potential employer stringing me along and wasting a good deal of my time money this week on multiple job site commutes, I'm afraid that it may be later this weekend before I am able to upload any more information. Apologies for the delay!

jdrakeh, don't worry about it. Real Life TM must always come before gaming, especially when it comes to posting updates here on EN World.
Cheers!

This project has slowly taken on a life of its own. After some actual play and feedback, I've switched it over to Risus, though I'm compiling a website that lays out everything in a system neutral format (HTML only), along with links to the documents for BD&D (RTF, PDF) and Risus (PDF), so readers can ostensibly use it with any system of their choice.
I'm building the system neutral bestiary currently and have finished the sections for races and magic, as well as the site index. Up next, I'm re-imaging the map (to accommodate the settting name change), building the Gazetteer page, and uploading an article on module placement recommendations (based on my own placements). I'll round out the site with a "Setting Secrets" page (100% optional) and a site OGL document.
I do, however, start a new job on th 8th of September, so I'm not quite sure how that will effect progress on the site just yet. I'll give another update when I get it figured out.
