D&D 3.5 - What Class Should This Villian Be?

2 Druids and A Sorcerer study together in a group to save the forest of a great kingdom... Someone is making the plants come alive and attacking anything living that comes near by. The power is so great that Druids cannot control it.

The three decided to make some sort of Cure againist this plants upon studying some effects. The Sorcerer mix some alchemy ingredients as one of the Druids back stab him almost killing him. This druid decided to do some of his own work to it making the Cure a even more Dangerous Threat.

The "Cure" was in the form of Seeds to be planted into the ground , but It does make the forest stop attacking foes, but A tree grew out of a strange material that resembles of Human Flesh, and It produce a fungus that spreads throughout the forest , Once The Fungus Coats itself onto a plant, It spreads within its roots making certain areas in the forest really dangerous.

But IF it gets on a animal or living creature the Fungus starts to build around the heart creating small creatures thats made out of the Fungus Taking two weeks for them to mature. Once they mature they explode out of the victim's heart attack and trying to get inside of the next victims to reproduce.

The Evil Druid that did this evil plan imprisoned The other Druid inside the Alchemy Lab the Sorcerer was using.

But when the party found out about this evil Plague that's going on in the forest , They sense some sort of Necromancy from this.

Later on The party found the lab and Found the Druid that was imprisoned there Told them that The Necromancy Aura that they sensed is not Necromancy but Another Aura thats Disguising the True Aura.

Druid/Specialist Mage (Necro or Transmuter)/Geomancer?

Druid/Specialist Mage (Necro or Transmuter)/Mystic Theurge?

There was a Verdant Lord PrCl or some such class in Masters of the Wild that could work.

Check out Book of Vile Darkness and Heroes of Horror- one of them might contain a PrCl that might work for you. BoVD has, for instance, the Thrall of Jubliex, which has slime-related powers. Reskin or expand it to have power over fungi, and you're good to go!
