Damned players

I was DM'ing our Saturday night Legacy of Fire Pathfinder RPG game, and let's just say, to keep the thread as spoiler-free as possible, that something happened to the PCs that made me have to reboot/flashback the campaign.

The players will have a new set of PCs, troubleshooters who are going to be hired by the authorities to retrieve something which is supposed to be somewhere in the City of Brass. The problem is, I need to set up the CoB itself (the original module takes place inside a building and doesn't give much detail on the rest of the city). Also, I need to level them up in order to have a fair fight once they get there, so I'd need a couple of side quests, for levels 8-10.

Any suggestions?

Necromancer's City of Brass came out quite a while ago and can be found on pdf here: The City of Brass - Necromancer | EN World PDF Store

It's a pretty cool product and you get a lot of content for the money.
