[OT] LOTR GW Game

Hi All

What's the opinion of you wargamers and fans of Games Workshop's LOTR game? Is it popular, is it any fun to play etc?

I have never played one of these games but I really like the look of this one.

I've got it, have several miniatures for it, and play it regularly.

It's great fun. The only danger is that after playing D&D you may find the rules for LOTR incredibly simplistic. Don't be fooled. Easy to learn, difficult to master.

You can teach your friends the rules within about 10 minutes, play a quick game in about half an hour. And did I mention how fun it is?

Nice minis, too.

I had a quick game at Games Workshop and it did seem very simple. That was my main concern - as well as it being popular so that people would actually play it!
