Tricky Owlbear celebrates its 2nd Anniversary!

The second year of Tricky Owlbear Publishing, Inc. has been pretty quiet in terms of new releases. We were riding the wave from last year's release of Behind the Spells: Compendium and then, for 6 months starting back in December, we produced smaller issues of "Behind the Spells" for koboldquarterly.com (which was a lot of fun and an honor to be associated with that great magazine).

For our 3rd year we're moving into Paizo's playground with their release of the Pathfinder RPG. To coincide with their corebook's release, we'll be releasing out Pathfinder-compatible Abbey of the Golden Sparrow. Written by Dale McCoy, Jr., this product is the first in a series describing standalone locales; in this case, a mountain abbey. AGS includes new feats, new character traits, new magic, and is just plain chock full of flavor for PCs to use as character background and that GMs can use for adventure seeds. Something for everyone!

Tricky Owlbear will also be supporting Swords & Wizardry with adventures (our first is in the planning stages and is entitled What Goes Up) besides keeping up with regular "Behind the..." releases. In layout now, besides AGS, is a medieval adventure entitled A Matter of Faith which uses 3.5 rules in a 12th century England setting.
