Trailblazer is a "system optimizer" for your d20-compatible 3rd edition game. Our design approach has been straightforward and focused: Identify the major problems of 3rd edition, then rebuild or refit the system using the latest in game design philosophy.

Trailblazer is both forward-looking and backwards compatible; innovative, but respectful of gaming traditions.

Inside this work, you will find:

Full details over at RPGNow. Price currently $4.95 for over 150 of gaming goodness!

Thanks again W.R. When can we get it in dead tree version? Will it be available from Amazon or are we going to be stuck with Lulu (i.e. a complete rip off with postage if you are not in the states?)

I like Trailblazer. There's some interesting design choices there, and Development Notes are always good to read.

D/L this morning, quick skim through (still in the office  ) and need to devote some quality time to seeing what changes might get incorporated into my 3.5E experience (Action Points, I'm looking at you).

I'm looking into a print version ASAP. The modularity appeals to me and my Frankenstein's Monster of a home rules set could always use a third arm.

In print from Lulu only, right?

I have tried to download 4 times now, and each time it partially downloads (3.3M, 1.1M, 3.3M, 2.9M) and then hangs. It kills all Firefox sessions, and Thunderbird hangs retrieving mail. Trillian (AIM & Yahoo) drops, etc. The only way to fix it is to reboot.

Has anyone else seen this?

Hey David, since I have your email address from you directly, I can email you a copy directly if you prefer. But it's almost 7meg on the nose. Let me know and keep me posted-- if there is an error in the PDF, I want to know. (But it seems other folks are reporting no problems...)

At this time I'm planning to go through Amazon's POD service.
