[Sat. 3PM-7PM] League of Extraordinary Pulp: Time Out of Time (FULL - Accepting ALTS)
The year is 1936: the armies of darkness are poised to take over the Earth, and it's up to the world's most famous pulp heroes and heroines to save the day! A mysterious stranger brings this team of iconic characters together, the best of the best, in a battle against the forces of evil seeking to change the fate of mankind itself.
The game system will be Hollow Earth Expedition/Secrets of the Surface World -- no knowledge of the system is required, and I'll provide everything you'll need to play. I'll publish the full roster of heroes and heroines later, but the short list will include Professor Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr., The Shadow, and Captain Francesca "Franky" Cook, RAF.
All you need to do is prepare to enjoy yourself in this fast-moving, high-powered, over-the-top action-packed adventure.
Whether you're a hard-core pulp fan, or just enjoy saving the world on a Saturday afternoon, this game is guaranteed to knock your socks off!**
Characters
1. (LegolasGimli24)Professor Henry "Indiana" Jones (Jr.), the world-famous (or infamous, depending upon who you're talking to) archaeologist and obtainer of rare antiquities. Although he's a man of letters and learning, he's got more exciting adventures to his name than published papers. Twixt his wits and his whip, Indy always gets what he's after, but often only by the skin of his teeth and a hair's breadth away from certain doom.
2. The Shadow, scourge of the underworld! By day, he is Lamont Cranston, a seemingly shallow playboy-socialite, but by night, he is a masked crime-fighter who battles evil with an uncanny ability to cloak himself in darkness, a piercing insight into the deepest recesses of any and every human heart... and the "Silver Heat": a pair of custom silver-plated Colt .45 autos that he uses with deadly accuracy. Indoctrinated in the mysteries of the Far East, there is no man or woman whose secrets can withstand his steely gaze and probing mind.
3. (Queenie)Aleena the Enchantress, a blonde bombshell whose intoxicating green eyes, hourglass figure, and deeply alluring voice promise temptations of indescribable delights that no man can resist... until it's far too late for them to do so! Once a troublemaking arch-rival of Mandrake the Magician, she now seeks to redeem her formerly wicked ways by using her powers of mesmerism and enchantment to fight the rise of Nazism.
4. Captain Francesca "Franky" Cook, RAF, a one-eyed raven-haired dynamo who is an accomplished aviatrix, expert marksman, and brilliant aeronautical engineer all rolled up into one beautiful (and deadly) package. The sole female officer in the RAF, she is the driving force behind Britain's super-secret development of a Combat Zeppelin Corps. She's brought along her latest pet project, something she's nicknamed Art, short for "aero-rocket transporter" (a.k.a. a jet pack).
5. The Phantom, the "immortal and indestructible guardian of the innocent". No one knows that the "Ghost Who Walks" is in fact Kit Walker, the 20th Phantom to have continued the legacy of the Walker family vow from the 16th Century to the present day to fight tyranny and injustice no matter what form it takes. Whether he's found in the jungles of Bangalla, deep in the heart of darkest Africa, or on the streets of Manhattan, no one ever sees the man behind the mask. With his mountain wolf Devil always at his side, the tides of evil are no match for the Phantom's wits, strength, skill with weapons, and above all, his fearsome presence.
6. "Doc" Clark Savage (Jr.), truly a Renaissance man in every sense of the phrase: physician, surgeon, scientist, adventurer, inventor, explorer, researcher, and musician. Often called "The Man of Bronze" because of his dark skin "bronzed by tropical suns", his close-cropped hair, hypnotic gold-flecked eyes, and height of 6'6", he is the ultimate champion of the era, righting wrongs and punishing evildoers. Doc has been trained from birth to fight evil by a team of scientists assembled by his father to become the ultimate "science" hero, possessed of great strength and endurance, a photographic memory, a mastery of the martial arts, and a vast knowledge of the sciences.

I am positively playing. Qualidar wanted to try Hollow Earth Expedition too so I didn't want to have all the spots fill up before he got to see the game. He is still tentative.
