This thread will be for discussion of meals. We'll provide dinner Saturday night -probably something from the grill to avoid a big group at a restaurant on a Saturday night. This would be a good place to post if there is something you know you want to bring. We suggest if you have snack / beverage / liquor preferences you bring them. We'll get bagels but anything else breakfast related would be good to bring, of course, we have everything under the sun nearby so shopping when you get here is fine.
Last year we also got a hero and pizza for Friday night and had that through the weekend for lunch, we had plenty of food and I think it worked out well.
We'll post what we need when we get closer to the date.
Hey all! Time to start talking about food - yeah, we're getting close!!!
To past attendees - were you okay with how the food worked out last year? I thought it was good but want to double check with you all before I finalize our shopping list. Okay, start our shopping list
To refresh, Friday night we had the hero sandwich and pizzas.
Sat & Sun morning we had fresh bagels and Dunkin Donuts.
Sat lunch some people ate the leftover pizza and hero, some had more donuts and bagels, some went fast food which we are crazy close to tons of. Basically you're on your own for lunch but there is plenty of food.
Sat night we had burgers and dogs and some salads - regular and pasta plus baked beans.
People brought snacks and some food but also chipped in money towards what we provided since we ended up providing dinner both nights.
To new attendees, does this sound okay to you? Do you have any food requirements?
Here is my current list of what we plan on providing:
Hamburgers
Hot Dogs
? Chicken (maybe spiedies! again)
Sausage / Kielbasa
Buns / bread for all
Toppings
Baked Beans
Regular tossed salad and / or fresh veggies for dipping
Bagels
Butter
Cream Cheese
Juice
We have plenty of stores nearby for any food / alcohol runs so if you are traveling don't feel like you have to bring things with you.
I was completely and totally happy with the food situation last time around -- I just need to remember to bring coffee and a coffee maker and/or locate the nearest Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts.
Last year Frank brought his coffee maker. Maybe we'll take a gander at how much they cost so our gameday peeps don't have to be without their coffee. Otherwise there are like 5 DD within 5 miles, a Starbucks, McDonalds, 7-11 and also plenty of gas stations that make coffee.

I think we were good last time!
No worries.... I know where to get one.... consider it our major donation to the gameday...
You still want baked goods (brownies and cookies) right?

So we'll be grilling for Saturday's dinner? Frai and I would be happy to bring some veggie burgers and enough to share with anyone else who wants them.

Overall, food sounds good.
