Dancing River Flowers With an inexperienced governor, hidden tong war, and slumbering river dragon, Cham Fau can be an interesting place to call home. But when river boat crews start disappearing on the eve of the annual Fishing Festival, things get personal. Is it the work of the jealous competition or is something more sinister at work? Dancing River Flowers is a True20 adventure of Martial Arts Mayhem and High Adventure!
Cast of Characters (which we'll pick at the game): Mok To-Bon; Hulking warrior, lazy guardsman, but you don't mess with his family's boat. Fong Yuen; A traveling wu-jen. It's easy to be the crotchety old man when you can make things explode. Chou Liu Pang; A dashing out-of-town noble with his family honor to protect and more than his share of secrets. Hou Tze; How does a goofy bald teenager make his way alone in the kingdom? Guardian spirits and Mad Monkey Kung Fu! Chu Chu Chong; You don't complain about the service when the waitress can chuck you through the wall into the next closest restaurant... K'ai Hua Lui; This reserved beauty has spent much of her time exploring the seedy underbelly of Cham Fou since she arrived from downriver, but why?
Players: 1- John Crichton
2- Madwabbit
3- Cassander
4- Dire Wolf
5- molonel
6- Steve Jung
Alt 1- (Orchid Blossom?)
(the stuff that was here before the edit):
Spoiler:
I'm not sure what I'm running yet, but I'm running something!
Likely True20, as I've been inspired by Barsoomcore's DPoNI game.
Possible genres:
Chinese Fantasy in the land of Kara Tur
Arabian Fantasy in the land of Al-Qadim
Scary fantasy in the depths of space?
Cowboys???
Hell, I don't know. It'll be good.

That's cool. It's just after Kara-Tur and Al-Qadim, I thought maybe it was another old campaign setting.
I'll vote for Al-Qadim cause I never played it but wanted to, but I probably won't be able to stay until 3pm and may or may not have another game at this time.
Ooooh, True 20. I wanted to test drive the system one more time, I really liked it for DPoNI and was thinking about picking it up. Decisions, decisions.....

We can only hope that Corey can eventually create the actual setting for publish...
Count me in. I may have to bail out if Cass runs his Dread game, but that's looking iffy for this slot, and the 1100am Sunday slot with you last year was AWEsome.
I've updated the first post with the new game description.

I thought about it, and I just don't have enough time to get the Al Qadim game ready (much higher level characters), but I do promise awesomeitude with high-kicking chinese fantasy!
In other news, I just noticed I had JC & Madwabbit together in one of my games. If Anti-sean had been coming I would have to have packed the defibrillator paddles to make sure Madwabbit survived the experience. Last time it was close!

So, no AS?
That's a shame. Truly.
I'd have been happy to die laughing with The Terrible Trifecta (you, JC, and AS) together again.
Although Queenie's walls might be a mess from all the soda I'd spew.

It is truly a shame that our pal will not be making it. Do we know if that's a definite?
Any chance you guys could drag him with you?
