That said - our house is not in the best shape. The guys who were supposed to fix the hole in our bathroom ceiling haven't gotten it done.
The weeding didn't get done, our busy summer, hospital visits and the rain hasn't helped with that.
Our almost new dryer has been broken for 2 months (yeah, let's not get started on THAT topic).
So, yeah.
Anyone who is traveling with their car: if you could bring blankets, pillows and towels that would be great. We have some stuff and we'll be trying to make as many trips to the laundromat as we can but I'm still not positive we have enough of that for 20 people. If you have an air mattress and room for it, please bring it. Some people are traveling and won't have space for this stuff so we totally appreciate it!
Don't go too crazy! lol You know we have lots of blankets, comforters, and a bunch of sleeping bags. Not too many people will be on the floor but air mattresses just in case are good, we only have one, plus the extra queen mattress we have.
I am really thinking about towels though, it would be good to bring those. Especially since our dryer doesn't work!
My church / the place I went to school K-8th grade is having our annual Italian Feast this week. They have sausage sandwiches, pizza, gyros, cotton candy, candy apples, rides, games, Las Vegas gambling and zeppoles!!! It's a small faire but I have only missed one year going since I was a kid.
Thought I would mention it for those who will be here Friday / Sunday if anyone feels like some faire food / games. It's like 5 minutes away and doesn't cost anything to get in.

It's fried dough covered in powdered sugar. It's more doughy than a funnel cake. Zeppoles are a creation sent by the gods and I am enjoying one right now... yummmyyy.....
