More Games?

I think we still might need some more games for the gameday. We only really got two games scheduled with players right now.

I'm currently working on putting a fantasy True20(ish) game together which I could probably get into runnable shape by LIGD. I also could dust off my old 3e goblin game I ran at the first DC gameday with a few fixes and lessons learned. There's also my YMCA game I could try on Friday night if there's interest since it's not making on Sunday.

Frai's been working on a castle siege Dread game she says she could put together, and she could also do a cultist-themed two-player Dread game that she's run a couple times, perhaps a good option if there are only a couple people who need a game in a given slot.

I think Bob mentioned a Savage Worlds game... perhaps that can be posted in a slot?

Right now, we have a full game on Saturday PM, so those not signed up for it might want something to play. In the morning, I know JC and I at least have played Jody's game already and could use a game with anyone else not signing up for Jody's. And there's nothing on Sunday, assuming Tom's doesn't pan out. Do we want to make Sunday a travel day and perhaps add a slot Friday night?

Anyone interested in any of these or have one to run themselves?

I could probably run something else Sat. night.

Sunday I'm cool with just hanging out and playing board/card games until we decide we want to leave or we get kicked out.

I could go for some boardgaming Sunday AM/afternoon or possibly an RPG. The Battlestar Galactica boardgame, Arkham Horror, Cosmic Encounter or even Decent could be a good option for this slot. Dread isn't really my cup of tea for the morning and I'm groggy as hell so that's why no YMCA for me.

Friday night is probably a no-go for Seo and myself as we will probably be arriving around 9am, as usual.

I could also be interested in the same thing for Saturday AM as Sunday AM.

I'm not sure how late I'll make it in on Friday, as I'm supposed to be dog sitting, but I might be able to make it in time for a game slot if one will be added.

I need something still for Saturday afternoon. I'm sure as it gets closer more people will put up games (at least, I hope!)

I know at least a couple of the guys from my gaming group will be around and will be looking for some board game action. I'll see if I can come up with a game for the early Saturday slot perhaps.

EDIT: I stand corrected... I am in Jodi's game on Saturday AM so perhaps I could run a game anyone who wanted to play on Sunday, late morning or early afternoon.

Rob and I are going away this weekend. When we get back we'll figure out more games / schedule.

It looks like people would be happy with board games and one of our friends mentioned Heroscape, stuff like that. That's cool with us too.

Friday night isn't great for a scheduled game, IMHO. I am not opposed to it, but it's dependent on who is here and available and wants to play that game. I can't really commit myself as last year I was running like mad to the train station. Plus I feel like I'm rude if I am in a game when people show up to my house.

Card games or board games or hanging out is better because card games are quicker and as people arrive and want to play they can jump in.

I think last year people had fun playing card games and filling in time with those when their time wasn't booked.
