I just realized that I never finalized what I was running publicly. I'm still writing up the adventure and characters but the basic genre/setting is set: Science fiction, action & treachery.
Not precisely sure of the system but I'm thinking either Savage Worlds, M&M2.0 or maaaybe Star Wars SAGA. But probably one of the first two.
6 players. Taking dibs.
Slot 1: Donaj
Slot 2: Rodrigo
Slot 3: Seonaid
Slot 4: Dire Wolf - For a shorter game
Slot 5: OPEN
Slot 6: OPEN
More details to come soon.
Copied from post #6.
Okay ... I've had zero time to prep this and I'm finding my heart isn't fully into it. However, I'd stilll like to run something and I like Queenie's idea of simply running a boardgame. Here are the games I'm thinking of running in this slot:
Arkham Horror: Great multiplayer game that has RPG elements.
Space Hulk: I don't know the rules all that well but it's fun stuff.
Starfarers of Catan: Like Settlers of Catan only in space and with pirates. And more fun.
Agricola: Super fun farming game with lots of screwing over the other players.
Descent: Dungeon Delve similar to Warhammer Quest.
Depending on the number of players and how fast everyone picks up each of the games, we could end up playing two of these. My first pick would be Arkham Horror due to it being closest to an actual RPG and it's one of my favorite cooperative boardgames EVAR.
All these games can take 6 players, some more. Please let me know if you still want in on this slot.
Slot 1: DV
Slot 2: Rodrigo
Slot 3: Seonaid
Slot 4: OPEN
Slot 5: OPEN
Slot 6: OPEN

I should be able to get in on a board game that wouldn't take too long and still be able to get dinner started on time. I'd be most interested in Arkham I think, but I'd play pretty much anything.

Is Psion/Ceasar Slaad going to make it up? I'll PM him.
Maybe he can run his Pathfinder or Fantasycraft in this SAT PM time slot too?
As far as a boardgame goes, I guess I don't care what's played.

If that's what's preferred I imagine he'd just post the game. As for myself, I'm not a big fan of playing D&D-esque games at gamedays.
Well, some of us don't get to play D&D-esque games at home. I think I feel the opposite way that you do. I really dislike one-offs and boardgames, personally. But, hey, I have to take what I can get, since it's all I am going to get.

I hear ya. Was just stating what I usually do at GDs.
I actually actually haven't had a solid D&D group for years so it's more of a carryover from a time that I did more than anything else.
