Monsters of Verdune
Monsters of Verdune
Monsters of Verdune provides these new creatures as a supplemental bestiary for Monte Cook’s Arcana Evolved.

Monsters of Verdune, by Rite Publishing, is a monster supplement for Monte Cook’s Arcana Evolved variant rule system. Detailed within the 28 pages are 9 monsters and 2 templates to use with not only the 3.0/3.5 rule set but other gaming systems. The product has some flaws but there are solid gems... Read more

Kobold Ecologies, Vol 1 (OGL/4E)
Good, but I'd consider the PDF over the Print for the art.

A generous offering of monster mayhem, but definitely more OGL than 4E.

A 4-parts mini-campaign to find the crystal pieces, save the world!

A mini-campaign aimed at beginner characters in the DW world, this will nevertheless prove as dangerous as Sleeping Gods for rash players and unprepared GMs. But making it through will give your PCs material for high tales to spin in inns for many years to come.

Even if many are in the DW rulebook, the extra details and the new creatures are well worth investing into this supplement for the GM, probably less so for others.

An intriguing experiment which shows real promise.

For the price, well worth checking out. It may not be to everyone's taste, but if you enjoy old-school dungeons and Monte Cook's flair for the evocative, you'll definitely get a lot out of Dungeonaday.com.

Kobold Quarterly goes to year 3.
KQ9 seems to hit its stride, though there are still a few minor stumbles.

Dave Arneson's final interview, a heaping of OGL material, a healthy dose of 4E, and a smattering of Pathfinder with some beautiful art and a great map.

Dragon Warriors 2008
Dragon Warriors 2008
Back on the wave of nostalgia, this one is different enough to warrant a close encounter

Revisited from the original 1985 series of books, the new version of the game cathers to both newbie and grognards, providing a more dangerous place to adventure in than regular fantasy rpgs, but not a less interesting one. Even if the mechanics suffer a bit from age and the way the game was... Read more

Solid old school D&D fanzine with multiple adventures, magic items, and rules.

The text is solid and inspirational, the graphics are simple, the inside is black and white. The issue contains several adventures, a dozen magic items, some extra rules, a hand full of monsters. I liked it very much.

War of the Burning Sky #2: Indomitable Fire Forest of Innenotdar
War of the Burning Sky #2: Indomitable Fire Forest of Innenotdar
From a role-player's perspective, this is a rather meaty adventure with a great deal of depth and originality and few significant flaws.

The Indomitable Fire Forest of Innenotdar is the second adventure in the War of the Burning Sky Campaign Saga, which is a 12 part series of adventures designed to take characters from 1st level to 20th level. The characters should be 3rd level entering this installment.
