Through one of several brief plot points, the party finds their strength pitted against the minions of the Mountain King and the evil dwarves and humanoids that lurk in the forgotten halls. Some 4e snafus in this early product but the bonus Fat Dragon 3-D models are sweet.

Martial Power provides many, many options to martial characters.

Martial Power is an excellent resource for martial characters...I would recommend this book to any martial character, but regret it’s uselessness to anyone else.

I greatly preferred Thunderspire Labyrinth over Shadowfell. Some of the set piece battles are fun, the central location (The Seven Pillared Hall) is far more diverse and interesting than Shadowfell's Winterhaven. We experienced some balancing issues, though.
