From the earliest days of Superhero 2044, D&D has consistently defeated attempts to adapt it for use as a Superhero role-playing game. Whether it's the first, second or third edition, the D20 System contains subtle elements which defy the conventions of Superhero gaming. Over the past few years... |

| Coruscant and the Core Worlds Coruscant and the Core Worlds is a 160-page hardcover sourcebook for the STAR WARS D20 role-playing game
For the price, there is some very good material here, but I still think that $30 is a bit much. Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know, but I’ll protest that until the day I can’t rattle my dice any longer. The bottom line: if you are a Game Master, or just a die-hard Star Wars fan, you’ll likely find... |

| SnarfQuest D20 Worldbook Looking to add some humor to your current d20 campaign, or need to get reacquainted with the misadventures of your favorite Zeetva?
In the end, this small tome does what it sets out to. It's definitely not for every player and it's not going to win any awards for graphic presentation as it uses a simple one column layout with little in the way of layout modifications or new art, but it's going to be a good companion to the... |

| The Goblin Fair A d20 adventure designed for 4-6 characters of 4th-6th level.
This is a well-written and amusing adventure, focused on a fair in a magical dimension populated by fairy tale creatures such as goblins, elves, ogres, dragons, hags as well as the more traditional fey. In fact, the whole adventure has a humorous fairy-tale feel to it and should make a fun once-off... |

| Way of the Shugenja More than just a book of spells, Way of the Shugenja offers inside looks on the shugenja class.
I have very mixed feelings about this book. It is very heavy on the exposition side of things, with mostly cultural information in the various shugenja. This is not a negative thing, in my opinion though. But it IS quite costly, and for the price, on could have expected a few more crunchy bits. The... |

The Book of Eldritch Might III: The Nexus is a 96 page softcover book written by Monte Cook from Malhavoc Press, with a cover price of $18.95. It is collection of spells, magic items, and assorted arcane knicknacks. What makes this book unusual and different from its predecessors is its... |

| DCC #7: The Secret of Smuggler's Cove The module is very well written and presented. "The Secret of Smuggler's Cove" is perhaps not the most original module in terms of basic theme, but is fairly original in how it puts those themes together. |

| Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk I am and have been a long time Greyhawk fan. I do not have a dominant preference for a particular iteration of the Greyhawk setting. Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk (ERCGH) is both a very good product (4 Stars) and a not so good one (2 Stars), yielding an overall impression of being average (3 Stars). |

| DCC 29 Adventure Begins twenty low level adventures
Remember the good old days, when adventures were underground, NPCs were there to be killed, and the finale of every dungeon was the dragon on the 20th level? Those days are back. Dungeon Crawl Classics don't waste your time with long-winded speeches, weird campaign settings, or NPCs who aren't... |

| UMBRAGIA: Realms of Shadow Volume I - People of the Realms Let me just say that I personally found them both believable and promising. What makes these races special is that they are not modelled after the "classical" fantasy races found in most fantasy RPGs (Elves, Dwarves, etc.). It was the stated goal of Umbragia's designers to avoid such cliches and create something original. IMO they have succeeded. |

| UMBRAGIA: Realms of Shadow Volume II - Nations of Umbragia For those of you interested in running a campaign set in Umbragia, the "Nations" are obviously essential to get started. "Nations of Umbragia" is the second volume dedicated to Jagged Edge Game's "Umbragia - Realms of Shadow" campaign setting. It presents an overview of the world inhabited by the various races introduced in their first game supplement, "People of the Realms". |

| D&D 3E Character Sheets These are pretty good I have played D&D for quite a while, and I see the need for character record sheets individualized by class. These are pretty good, having even spell planning sheets for spell casters and animal sheets for familiars/animal companions/mounts/pets. |

| Expedition To The Ruins of Greyhawk Super Hero writing meets D&D
Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk is another update of a classic adventure for the d20 rule set. As one of the dungeons associated most closely with Gary Gygax,... |

1. Interesting and varied encounters: I look for unique encounters, allowing for a variety of role and roll playing. ... |

| Lean And Hungry Beware! This review contains major spoilers.
Lean & Hungry is a 64-page mono softcover product costing $14.95. Largish spaces between paragraphs and titles, along with a few chunks of white space at the end of chapters, give the product an airy feel. Two pages of ads don't help this aspect. Art runs from good to average; the front cover... |

| Secrets of the Ancients Secrets of the Ancients presents a series of vignettes that can be used individually or together to enrich any fantasy campaign using the d20 game sys The book provides solid entertainment value for the dollar and even if the adventures themselves aren’t used, the GM should get some value out of the monsters, magic items, and the prestige class. |

| Interludes - Brief Expeditions to Bluffside This introductory adventure takes you on a wonderful trip from the snowed in village of Kirkwood to the marvelous city of Bluffside.
This product is for the people who play in Bluffside a valuable source of information, but as an adventure it is fairly poor. The main reason I give it an Average score that it would be a 4 for a Bluffside campaign, but a 2 or even 1 in any other situation. Also the power level in the module is... |

| The Pantheon & Pagan Faiths The Pantheon and Pagan faiths is a book of divine magic and knowledge for The Hunt: Rise of Evil campaign setting.
First things first, jumping right out of the gate I noted that Pagan Faiths takes a more earthy feel to divinity. What does that mean exactly? It means that while there are some panthionestic elements common to fantasy role-playing games, Pagan Faiths went a step beyond that and integrated these... |
