Chessex Battlemats & Megamats
Messageboard Golem

They have been a staple of my group's d20 campaign as much as our Player's handbook.

Traits and Flaws
Overall, this is something that can add a lot of flavor to a d20 Modern game, but can also be abused severely.

Pirates Guide to Freeport
Pirates Guide to Freeport
Systemless Freeport

Freeport is Green Ronin's signature city setting and has been home to thousands of RPG campaigns since its launch in 2000. Classic fantasy elements, cruel-hearted pirates, and Lovecraftian horror come together in the rum-fueled metropolis known as the City of Adventure. Now a new era is beginning.... Read more

Mutants & Masterminds
Mutants & Masterminds
While I love Hero and enjoy its complexities, I’m afraid that for a quick good-looking game, I’m going with Mutants & Masterminds.

A simple game that builds on the d20 system while remaining apart even as it’s one of the best looking super hero games out there

Fellowship of the Dice
Fellowship of the Dice
Entertaining, with a group of interesting characters, some funny lines, and a bunch of interviews with actual gaming convention-goers sprinkled throug

In a way, it kind of reminds me a bit of Napoleon Dynamite, which didn't have a whole lot of bust-out-laughing-aloud moments but kept up with a constant smile-on-your-face pace; Fellowship of the Dice is rather like that, with a decidedly gamer focus.

D&D Icons: Legend of Drizzt Scenario Pack
D&D Icons: Legend of Drizzt Scenario Pack
I give the set a solid "5 (Superb)".

Taken as a whole, The Legend of Drizzt Scenario Pack is an excellent addition to the supersized dragon miniatures line. (I'd imagine we'll see a green dragon next, to finish out the chromatic dragons.) The fact that this is packaged with two extra miniatures just makes it that much cooler.

Pathfinder I: Burnt Offerings
Pathfinder I: Burnt Offerings
Extraordinarily well done.

Overall, good stuff. I konw that I won't run it, but I might well rob stuff from it. (I never run published adventures except rarely at conventions.) What put this up to a 5 review for me was the package, the presentation, and the theme all coming together so well.

Roma Imperious True 20
Roma Imperious True 20
One of the best RP products I have bought in a long time and sets the bar quite high for other True20 settings.

Whether you come here for the cool setting, the rules, or the conversion... you get a *ton* of stuff for your measly 13 bucks. I never expected to get half of what I got. It is definitely one of the best RP products I have bought in a long time and sets the bar quite high for other True20... Read more

Castles & Crusades Players Handbook
Castles & Crusades Players Handbook
A lean, mean game, which plays like a souped-up version of D&D’s early editions.

The best fantasy RPG I’ve played, although it deliberately avoids some of the nice features of D&D 3E in order to keep up the pace and the excitement of play.

Barrow of the Forgotten King
Barrow of the Forgotten King

As noted by other reviewers, the adventure is very linear: Follow the grave robbers from one room to the next, all the way to the bottom. Deep Horizon is an adventure for 13th-level characters from Wizards of the Coast. The Bottom Line Deep Horizon is a perfectly OK set of encounters for a 13th-level group, with the potential to be much more if the GM is willing to put in the work. I acquired my copy second hand at... Read more
