RPG Legalities: OGF/4eGSL/d20STLDiscussions about the Open Gaming Movement, the Open Gaming License, along with WotC's GSL. This is the new home of the OGF-L and d20-L listserver discussions.
It's late in the day and I have just gotten back to my desk. As I said last week, we had a series of meetings today to review the SRD.
The meetings went well and we accomplished everything what we needed. All the key stakeholders (Brand, R&D, Legal) were present and we came to an agreement on the SRD. Based on the discussions some updates were made to the document and the new files have been passed off to legal for final merging.
If everything lines up tonight we'll have the finished files waiting for us in the morning. Once legal gets the us final files, Brand and R&D will review, then we will lock them and post them to the web.
I suspect they'll be posted later in the day tomorrow along with the FAQ and other accompanying documents.
I'll keep you updated here if something changes otherwise we'll post a news update to the D&D main page when it goes live.

Very minor question compared to what you've posted, but will whatever comes of this also effect fan sites? I ask only because I saw specific reference to that earlier.

But let's face it - the 4th edition of American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language lacks the soul of the OAHDotEL. It's AHDotEL in name only. You just have to look at the anime cover to see that. Anyone using the OAHDoTEL 4E is not really interested in speaking or writing English, he's just looking at a list of words without any flavor or meaning.

According to this:

So I'm guessing we won't know the effect on fan sites until a later date.
It is currently 2:59PM on the west coast of the US. Workdays here tend to end at 5PM, 6PM or 7PM depending on the particular industry and office. So if it does show up today, it will probably be in the next 2 to 4 hours.
yea another day goes by...no gsl...this is just too old...btw, when is DDI (game table et al) supposed to be coming out?
My bets on the game table are summer 09...anyone think other wise?
