I looked over the document and had a few questions:
1) If i create a level 1 goblin soldier, naming him red goblin warrior, with his own stats, can I give him goblin tactics?
1a) if the answer is yes, is it okay for me to reproduce a statblock with a changed name and small changes (initiative score let's say)?
2) Regarding powers and monsters, let's say I create the hop-dole monsters, and by mistake I give him a power (different in name) which has the same mechanical effect as in the
MM - let's say shift 1 (3/4) squares. Is it considered copying a power? Because if yes, it will be near impossible to create a monster manual for
4e.
3) If i create the humanfae race, can I give him the power Fae step (I assume I can't copy it to my book, but I can reference it). So in other words, If i want to have my own "elf" race, Can I just call them blood elves and say that they have the same crunch as the PHB elf?
4) Everybody here is talking about termination of the
GSL and doom&gloom theories. However, let's say I'm terminated, can't I just sell all my stock to another company which will continue to sell it ? (yes, I won't be able to print/ publish new stuff.. but I won't have to pulp everything).
5) If
WotC decide to add a section to the
GSL which prohibits me from publishing my IP in any form except
GSL (which they can terminate) - don't I have to agree to it? Or in other words, isn't the section about "automatic" compliance with new versions of
GSL a bit shady on the legal side?
6) Any chance for a more clear
GSL anytime soon? this one is really doing logic loops around itself and a big pain in the ass...
