I love your sheet and have started to convert some of my fellow adventurers to using it. It has proven itself incredibly valuable by allowing us to find bonuses that we'd missed when filling out the standard sheet by hand. However, while using it, we have found a few errors. I don't mean any disrespect by pointing them out. I feel your character generator is the best we've found, and we just want to help you make it even better.

    Typos:
    Start page:
    ABILITITY SCORES > ABILITY SCORES
    BRACLETS > BRACELETS
    PROFICENT > PROFICIENT
    Gold (GP > Gold (GP)

    Character Sheet I:
    PECEPTION > PERCEPTION
    BRACLETS > BRACELETS
    SHOUDLERS > SHOULDERS

    Character Sheet II:
    POSSESIONS > POSSESSIONS (Twice)

    Calculation errors:
It is always including a Draconic Sorcererís Elemental Affinity in damage calculations. The trait is not gained until level 6. For an example check Fire Bolt with a red dragon.

The Monkís Martial Arts trait is not being calculated with weapons. It allows Monks to use Dexterity instead of Strength for attack and damage rolls when using unarmed strikes and mink weapons (short swords and any simple melee weapons that donít have the two-handed or heavy property)

Great feedback, these are now fixed in V1.14 (check and let me know if any issues)

    Love this generator!
Small request: add Aarakocra and Auran as language choices.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Added to V1.15:
    - Aarakocra
    - Auran (Air)
    - Aquan (Water)
    - Ignan (Fire)
    - Terran (Earth)

For now you can type these into the language section (or any other language)

With the spells, 20 slots isn't enough to cover the number of spells available to many classes, particularly at 1st and 2nd levels. I had thought possibly shrinking the 8th and 9th level lists, but that just moves the problem onto the Wizard class. Is there a way to change the spell list area so that I can list ALL of the spells of each level?

This is a challenge, there are 2 scenarios that I can see that you can't quite fit all spells in. I'm excluding the Wizard spells as it is very unlikely that a Wizard gains access to all spells (though there is room for quite a few). The Cleric has an issue with 3rd level spells and Druid at 2nd level (includes domain / land spells). At the moment users need to determine which spells are of least importance / use in the campaign they are playing and exclude these from the list (although users can swap out spells as required). The cleric and druid still need to "prepare" spells each day to cast and this time can be done to quickly review all spells and change as required.

Changing the layout of Character Sheet III is also challenging as Spell Level 1-3 fit nicely on the left half and 4-9 fit nicely on the right half, having some 3rd level on the left and some 3rd level on the right is not ideal. I've pushed the row height down as far a possible to still maintain ease of viewing and pen/paper printouts. I'll think on it some more and if I find a way I'll implement it.

The tool is great! Thanks so much for making it! I'm trying out v1.13 on iOS Excel. I do get a warning that the file has macros that will not run or must be connected to the internet to work. I've checked and the file seems to work correctly after I pass the warning. Considering I plan on using my iPad at Adventure's League, it has all the details I need at my fingertips. This is a super tool.

    Awesome that it works!

I played around with Excel for iPad last week, though didn't download the character generator, and seems to function very well with touch.

I get the same warning on the Preview Version for Excel (running on Windows 10) that this version doesn't support macros and whether I want to purchase office 365 (which I have). Clicking "skip/ignore" the file works very well. The preview version of Excel also function extremely well for touch - on a Surface Pro 3 the worksheets fit nicely on the screen.

It's fantastic that the touch versions of Excel are free to use

    Thanks for the great feedback

Noticed that on on latest (v. 1.15) shortbow attack bonus and damage show as '#VALUE!'. Also thanks for adding Tieflings Hellish Rebuke to the spell-list, though now it's added as a level 1 spell. Players handbook dictates "[...] Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the hellish rebuke spell once per day as a 2nd-level spell.". Also would be nice if the 'spell ability bonus' and such would be calculated. Tieflings cast using their charisma bonus.

Thanks for the feedback, issue found with shortbow and corrected for V1.16. A workaround is putting a 0 in the ammunition bonus (though the ammunition is then ammunition+0)

For Hellish Rebuke, I will keep as a 1st level spell (though a Tiefling casts it as a 2nd level spell - 3d10 fire damage) as it affects game mechanics implemented in the tool (a Warlock can cast the spell at level 1 or any higher level for example). I'm thinking to add the spell details in the Race details

I will look at adding the spell ability calc to the Race or Subrace details instead of just (Cha) for example (Is this what you mean?)

Love this sheet. Thanks for your work. The apostrophe in the language "Thievesí Cant" should be after the s. I would love to see a Race Override entry just for purposes of printing on the character sheet. For example, for my DragonLance character I could select "Elf, Wood" for his legal statistics but then enter "Kagonesti Elf" for display purposes. I am also using your sheet for NPCs and weird ones such as Oceanus the Aquatic Elf come up. I gave him High Elf stats but would love if it printed "Aquatic Elf" on there. Anyway, thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback, corrected Thieves' cant and added option to RENAME (not OVERRIDE) Race, Subrace and Background in V1.17

Example of Custom Background (Sage) - Though this is exactly the same as the original Sage, for demo purposes only.
[There is an issue currently in V1.17 with the Specialty not referenced correctly]

Nice on the custom backgrounds! Thanks! Can you put in an option to hide the Hero Points?

Option to use Hero Points added to Start sheet (V1.18 final release)

You can try it out in 1.18 BETA - Zenith, just uploaded

    Thanks for all the work!

If you read this before I edited it, ignore...mistake on my end.

When the Start sheet was rearranged, the text formatting for languages and tools was broken. Feat Lookup also doesn't provide the description anymore, only the prerequisite.

I think it might be an improvement to provide a list of all the Hit Dice instead of total and remaining. This is because if you multicast you can have different hit dice for each class. If the sheet is printed out, then the player could strike though them with pencil as they are used. For those that don't print it out, it could be done similarly to the Death Rolls.

Edit: The Fighting Style: Dueling isn't' adding +2 to damage rolls. Tested with Warhammer and Short Sword, both with and without a shield.

Thanks for the feedback, which version are you using? Language and Tools text formatting issue found correcting for V1.21.

Feat lookup looks to be functioning as intended, if you have more details that'd be great.

For the Hit Dice will need to think about how to implement a neat solution for tracking different HD in multiclass

This on on 1.20 since I don't see 1.21 to download yet.

Did you happen to see the edit of my last post about "Fighting Style: Dueling" not adding to damage?
